The location The house is located in the popular Dagebüll district of Fahretoft and offers ideal opportunities for a wellness vacation with a dog and as a starting point for discovering the North Sea, the Wadden Sea National Park with its Halligen and islands of Föhr, Amrum and Sylt, for excursions to the Baltic Sea and Denmark. Nature lovers will get their money's worth here. The world's unique Wadden Sea, Unesco World Natural Heritage and National Park, is practically on the doorstep. Discover the most bird-rich area in Europe and Germany's most important natural area. In Schleswig-Holstein there are cultural, culinary and sporting highlights all year round that are easily accessible from here, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival or the Schleswig-Holstein Gourmet Festival, which is coveted by gourmets. The ancient village of Fahretoft was already well known before the 16th century. Today Fahretoft is located in the middle of the North Frisian mainland; however, this was not always the case. Fahretoft began its history as a Hallig and was in the middle of the North Sea for many centuries. Only with the dikes was the village connected to the mainland. Therefore, many houses are built on so-called "Warften" in the town center. Fahretoft has also made a name for itself as an artists' village and is now one of the quiet and tranquil communities that are also very popular and in demand as a holiday home among non-North Frisians. The nearest shops are about 8 km away (Dagebüll-Hafen). There you will also find restaurants, a café and the green beach. The amenities The house, completely renovated in 2020, is luxuriously and originally furnished and can accommodate up to 4 people. On the ground floor, a bedroom with two single beds, the open kitchen with dishwasher, stove, oven, kettle, toaster and much more as well as the living room with the TV corner are waiting to be discovered by you. The shower room is crowned with a small 2-person sauna. A staircase leads to the second, spacious bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200) and a chill retreat corner at the window with a magnificent view of nature. The shower room completes the picture. Linens and towels (initial supply) are provided for you. On the ground floor there is a washing machine and dryer. Behind the house you have a sheltered terrace area. In addition to your accommodation, a romantic garden with a high number of trees - also with a seating area - is at your disposal. Special features Your four-legged friend is welcome in the non-smoking vacation home. We are happy to provide you with free WiFi. Bicycles can be parked in the carport, which you can also use for your car. Next to the cottage is a historical museum and café that is open on weekends. Cakes are highly recommended!
