The holiday home is located on our property behind our house and is not fenced in. In the immediate vicinity are shopping facilities and restaurants about 7 km away. Public transportation is well developed. Catterfeld, since 01.01.2020 a district of the newly founded rural municipality of Georgenthal, is a real gem on the edge of the western "Thuringian Forest". This former hanging settlement is from the legendary \"Rennsteig\" from the most seen village in the\"Thuringian Forest\". The approx. 430-480 meters above sea level. NN m located place with its about 700 inhabitants has a charming location, here you will find peace and relaxation, a mild irritant climate and clean air. Numerely furnished resting benches and seating groups ensure your well-being when hiking around the village. Located on the Johannisberg, not far from Catterfeld and in the directly adjacent district of Altenbergen, the 1811 is a candelaber built and reminiscent of the Christianization of Thuringia by Bonifatius, who had built a baptismal chapel at this point. Our place is located directly on the B 88 federal highway and is therefore very easy to reach in terms of traffic, including a great connection to the A 4 and A 71 motorway motorway.
