Historic winegrower's house on the Danube

Welcome to the Wachau World Heritage Site! The Winzerhaus, built in the 17th century for up to 5 residents, with up to 2 baby beds on request, will inspire you, give you security, happiness, comfort, energy - whatever you are looking for. We have carefully restored the historic winegrower's house: that's why there are uneven walls, vaulted ceilings and thick walls. But also a lot of modern things: pool, sauna, a large outdoor kitchen, barbecue, 2 terraces, fireplace & wood stove. The space The basement has a large entrance area, a toilet so that you don't always have to walk to the second floor when coming from the garden and at the back you can eat together comfortably at a large table. The washing machine is located in the boiler room. On the upper floor there is a second toilet, a bathroom with shower, the kitchen with adjoining living room and 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a “Swedish bed” - a single bed that is primarily intended for children. From this room you can step out onto the east-facing terrace, which is perfect for breakfast. The second bedroom also has a double bed, as it is more of a children's room, it is also furnished in the same way: Four-poster bed, children's toys, books, A desk with a view of the garden. Next to the children's room there is also a door to the terrace. From the terrace you can access the garden via a staircase. The entrance to the sauna and relaxation room is also located on the terrace. The sauna has a breathtaking WOW view of the garden and the Danube. It is not visible from the outside. In the garden is the large outdoor kitchen with the Merklingen barbecue and extra stove for cooking. There is also a second seating area for everyone, called the “Salettl” - a covered seating area protected from the rain. Outdoor toys and yoga mats are stored in a shed. The pool is open from May to October, it can be heated and is located directly in the garden: with a direct view of the Danube and the ruins and vineyards opposite. There are many fruit trees in the garden: apricots, apples, sweet cherries and plums. Between the Danube and the garden there is only the Treppelweg, which is only permitted for cyclists and pedestrians. Guest access There is access to all areas.
