This beautiful 2-bedroom home with a large loft and 2 full baths sleeps up to 12 guests and is designed for comfort and connection. You’ll immediately fall in love with the abundance of windows that fill the space with natural light and showcase peaceful views of the surrounding property and sparkling in-ground swimming pool. The space Rancher’s Retreat is located on a beautiful working Longhorn property. Fenced areas are in place to protect both our guests and the animals, so we kindly ask that you remain within designated areas and enjoy the wildlife from a distance. While longhorns are not always visible from this cabin, guests frequently see deer, wild turkeys, and other local wildlife around the property. If seeing the longhorns up close (from a safe distance) is important to you, we recommend booking Hideaway Creek listing where views of long horns are upfront. Please note that there are two vacation rental cabins on the property. Each cabin has its own separate driveway, entrance, private outdoor areas, and private pool and/or hot tub. There are no shared spaces. Rancher’s Retreat is completely private, and there is an additional cabin that sleeps up to 8 guests available on a separate drive if you would like to accommodate a larger group (Hideaway Creek). The second cabin can be added to your stay by contacting the owner. The catfish pond is currently low due to drought conditions. Fishing availability may vary depending on water levels, but is currently not available. Guest access To ensure everyone’s safety and to protect the animals, guests are not allowed to climb gates or access other parts of the property. We kindly ask that you enjoy the surroundings from within the designated guest areas.
