Waterfront cottage! Located in a private association, our home on Highland Lake is perfect for families or a friendly gathering. 3-4 BD/2 BA, and lakefront! Sip your morning coffee on the wrap around deck while you listen to loons. Private beach, 2-person kayak, canoe, paddleboard and dock that will hold your boat & water toys. Less than 2 miles to downtown Bridgton. Close to hiking and snowmobile trails, skiing, Pleasant Mountain, Sunday River, North Conway and more. Come and enjoy lake life! The space Welcome to our lake front cottage on Highland Lake, one of the nicest lakes in the region! 1st floor has bedroom w/2 twins, large family room with 50-inch smart TV, 300mpbs WIFI, games, cards and wonderful views of the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked with a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, electric griddle, crock pot, lobster pot and everything else you need to feel at home. There is a kitchen table that will hold 4-5 guests and a larger table in the living room that will hold 6 or more guests for meals. There will also be plenty of outdoor dining during warmer months. There is also a full bath on the main floor. Upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms, along with a bonus room for a home office and/or more sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom has a NEW Queen bed and overlooks the lake. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and also overlooks the lake. The 4th bedroom is an extra room and doesn't currently have a door. It is both an office and additional room with a double bed in it. The house sleeps 6 without needing this bed, but it does give additional options for sleeping arrangements. New for 2024 are several items...We installed a beautiful gas fireplace in the Living Room to enhance your warmth as well as the views. We also purchased some brand new deck furniture, including an outdoor sofa set as well as a 6-person table with chairs. Several new chairs in the Living Room add to our recent additions, with more to come. From May through September, our dock will be in that will hold several boats and water toys. There is also a 2-person Kayak included as well as plenty of life vests, water toys and floaties for the kids. Mudroom is great for all seasons, including skiing and snowmobiling as it will hold skis, boots, gloves, etc. inside the house. We will also have a large Solo Stove outdoor firepit setup in the warmer months. Location location location! - Waterfront cottage with wrap around deck - less than 2 miles to downtown Bridgton - 5 miles from Shawnee Peak - very close to snowmobile trails - lots of hiking trails within short drive - 30 minutes to North Conway, NH Guest access Access to entire house. Depending on time of year, there may not be garage access but there's plenty of parking on the driveway and above the garage. Other things to note Driveway will be plowed and lightly sanded in winter months shortly after snow storms. We do have someone to shovel but can't guarantee exact timing. For PEAK Summer 2023, we are only renting Fridays to Fridays for weekly rentals. This is June through August. Thanks.
