Description
Welcome to Haus Oskar Glad you found us! Our 2 family house is located below the church, next to a beautiful playground, indoor pool and tennis court in the Hotzenwald metropolis Görwihl, at 650 m altitude. We have a light-flooded, lovingly renovated and equipped apartment with underfloor heating, oak parquet and a historic tiled stove. Other things to note The 70 m² apartment on the 1st floor is accessible via a steep, wide wooden staircase, which can be secured with a stair guard. The three rooms are divided into two bedrooms with double beds 1.80 m wide, a spacious living room with a large round dining table and a modern sofa, which is also very comfortable as a sofa bed, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with a small breakfast table. From the living room and one of the bedrooms, you can enjoy the view of the Swiss Alps between the neighboring houses. The shower room with toilet is quite small but nice, in addition, there is a separate guest toilet. A washing machine is not available. For the access to the Internet, WiFi is available, via which the TV is also operated. There is no satellite dish or cable TV. On apps such as Netflix or Amazon Prime, you can dial in with your access data, otherwise the mediators of the public channels are at your disposal. In the wild romantic garden there are various seating options, as well as a covered terrace with a large fire bowl with a grill. Shelters for bicycles are available. You can park the car in the community parking lot, right in front of the house. The apartment on the ground floor is inhabited by ourselves, the garden is shared. Surroundings The Hotzenwald is an area in the southern Black Forest, which extends from the Schwarza to the Wehra and from the Rhine to the 1263 m high Hochkopf. The wildly romantic nature with waterfalls, canyons and mountains offers countless possibilities for hikers, mountain bikers and recreation seekers. The sun-drenched student town of Freiburg with its medieval city center and the famous cathedral can be reached via the impressive route through the Hochschwarzwald, in about 1 hour. The Rhine plain, which is directly adjacent to Switzerland, offers diverse cultural and fun variety with its picturesque, historic old towns of Bad Säckingen, Waldshut and Tiengen. The well-known EuroVelo route, the largest cycling route network in the world, is also passing by here. The Swiss metropolises Basel and Zurich can be reached in about 1 hour and offer with their big city flair a variety of exploration possibilities. An interesting day trip also offers the historic Schaffhausen (CH) with the Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe. Nearby Alsass, with its picturesque towns, Colmar and Strassbourg, the Vosges, as well as the Ecomuesee d'Alsace (Historic Farm and Crafts Museum), offers interesting day trip destinations.
