House Rules (Do Not Ignore) 1. Nature Preservation: Please help us preserve the natural environment and enjoy it responsibly. 2. Wildlife Caution: Wild animals may cross near the property, adding to the charm of living here. However, be cautious as animals can quickly become defensive. Walk carefully during both daytime and nighttime to avoid snake bites. 3. Nighttime Safety: It is not recommended to roam outside the cottage after 11 PM. If you choose to do so, it will be at your own risk. Also, ensure children are always supervised. 4. Preventing Encounters: Check your shoes, clothes, bags, and other belongings in the morning to avoid unwanted reptiles or scorpions. These creatures cannot differentiate between warm places. 5. Bed Inspection: Before getting into bed at night, check it for any snakes or other surprises. It's better to be safe than wake up to an unwelcome guest. 6. Responsible Drinking: While we want you to enjoy your time, please drink responsibly. Large animals are mostly nocturnal and may see an intoxicated person as an easy target. Never drink and drive. 7. Responsible Waste Disposal: Avoid leaving food waste open, as it can attract animals to the cottages. Please give your waste to our staff, who will dispose of it properly. Avoid littering and manage trash, house waste, kitchen waste, and cigarette butts responsibly. 8. Leaving the Cottage: Please leave the cottage in a way that would make you want to come back again. 9. Prohibited Items: No drugs or illegal substances are allowed on the premises. 10. Respectful Noise Levels: Avoid parties, loud music after 11 PM, ensuring a peaceful environment for everyone. 11. Care for the Property: Engaging in hard sports that may damage the property, such as cricket or baseball, is not permitted. Please respect the lawns, plants, furniture, fixtures, and windows. 12. Guest Limit: The number of guests should not exceed the booked amount, and any additional guests will incur extra charges. 13. Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Remember to switch off the air conditioning when leaving and garden lights when not in use. 14. Mosquito and Insect Prevention: Keep doors and windows closed, especially in the evening, to prevent mosquitoes and insects from entering. Apply mosquito repellent when necessary. 15. Property Damage: Any damage to the property or belongings will require compensation at the replacement cost. 16. Cleaning Schedule: House cleaning, floor sweeping, and mopping will be done once a day. 17. Additional Facilities: Additional facilities like utensil washing and kitchen use will incur extra charges beyond the booking rates. 18. Linen Changes: For short stays of up to 7 days, linen will be changed once before check-in. For longer stays, linen will be changed once every week. 19. CCTV Surveillance: Common areas, including the garden and main entrance, are under CCTV surveillance for security purposes. 20. Check-in and Checkout: Please adhere strictly to the check-in time of 12:00 PM and checkout time of 9:00 AM to allow sufficient time for cleaning before the next guests arrive. 21. Suspicious Activity: Any suspicious activity will be reported to the nearest police station without prior warning. Guests engaging in unruly or illegal behavior may be evicted immediately. All correspondence regarding resolution or mitigation will involve the police. Please note that this is a non-binding set of guidelines, and we expect guests to be law-abiding and respectful during their stay. Other things to note For your safety, please avoid taking risks, especially when intoxicated, as our property is situated at a height.
