Welcome to our charming guest room in the 150-year-old Spanish restaurant Bodega Española. Here you can experience the charm of one of the oldest restaurants in Zurich, combined with modern amenities and comfort. Our central location in Zurich's picturesque old town right next to the Grossmünster provides convenient access to public transport and the main train station. The space Spanish culture for over 150 years – the Bodega Española was founded in 1874 by Pedro Gorgot from Catalonia as "Casa Gorgot". The oldest Spanish wine shop in Zurich with its own restaurant has since embodied Spanish drinking and eating culture in the middle of Zurich and has developed a unique tradition over the years. Find more information on our website. Guest access In addition to your stay in our guest room, we would love to welcome you to our restaurant or tapas bar. We kindly ask you to note that our guest room is on the 3rd floor of the house and there is no elevator. During your stay As a restaurant business, our employees are at your disposal daily from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm for any questions or concerns. The chat is supervised from Monday to Friday (until 3 pm). In case of an emergency, you can always contact the restaurant staff or call the phone numbers on the contact form in the room. Other things to note Our house, built in 1524, offers a unique atmosphere with its lively restaurant business. Due to its historical construction, it is bright, which could possibly affect guests with a lighter sleep. For undisturbed sleep, we therefore recommend taking earplugs with you. This way, you can fully enjoy your stay with us.
