Very close to the shops and restaurants in Berlin This is a spacious 2,000 sq foot house, with living room, dining room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a game room and family room. We have ample parking for multiple vehicles and also for a good sized trailer. The basement is a walk out basement with sidewalk leading to driveway - no steps. There is a Queen bedroom and bathroom in the basement. Also a family room with TV in the basement with only 1 step. Maximum of 8 people. FYI - our wood burner and fireplace haven’t been set up to use. Boundaries for our property are the rows of shrubs on either side of the house & the little red storage barns at the back of the yard belong to our neighbors. Please respect our neighbors. Thank you We do not live on this property & we will give you privacy and not bother you unless we have to, or you request help with something. My husband does have some things stored in the garage & may stop in occasionally to pick up something. We ask that you gather up your waste in garbage bags provided and put in or by trash can on the deck, put your used dishes in the dishwasher & start it, and leave the slept-in beds unmade. Thank you! Lots of restaurants nearby. Amish Cooking Restaurants in Berlin - Boyd & Worthmanns (doesn't take credit cards) , Berlin Farmstead, & Der Bake Oven. And there's Olde World Bakery out close to the High School on 39, and Ginger House on the square, a Mexican Grill on 39 west just out of town, & Plain & Simple Diner inside the Antique Mall. We have an East of Chicago Pizza, Dairy Queen, Burger King, and Subway. And I'm sure that I've missed some. Outside of town, we have Mrs. Yoder's at Mt Hope that serves all you can eat fish on certain Fridays of the month, Der Dutchman's of Walnut Creek with buffets to die for, and Rebecca's Cafe in Walnut Creek is amazing. We also have Chalet in the Valley with a swiss theme menu on State Route 515 right across from Guggisberg Cheese. The Inn at Honey Run has the Tarragon restaurant, where I once ate the best toasted cheese sandwich in my life. Please remember that most businesses and restaurants are closed on Sundays. We are about 35 miles from the Canton Football Hall of Fame. Snow Trials, at Mansfield is 43 miles. Lehman’s Hardware, Kidron is 14 miles. ‘‘Tis the Season” is a one of a kind Christmas shop. It’s Ohio’s largest year round Christmas shop. Find it at Schrock’s Heritage Village 4363 State Route 39, Millersburg, just a couple miles away. The Mt Hope Auction has sale day on Wednesday’s, as well as other special sale events. Visit there website to see upcoming events and sales. (mthopeauction). It’s about 5 miles from us. Something interesting to do in the wintertime is take a sleigh ride at the Farm at Walnut Creek. Of course we will need some snow for that! This a rural area, you will need a car. There is a cement pad by the front door for you to park & to use as a turnaround. We have 2 Smart TVs. Also have a blender, toaster, & can opener that weren’t listed on the amenities. The Holmes County Chamber of Commerce has a calendar of events that are upcoming for our area. Visit their website (holmescountychamber) events Sunday is for the most part, a day of worship and rest for the folks in Berlin. Most shops are closed and also Amish cooking restaurants. There are still places to eat and things to do on Sundays.
