It is located directly on the autobahn and is only a 25-minute drive from the vibrant city center. Situated in the midst of a tranquil 500-soul village, an oasis of peace and relaxation awaits you in our vacation apartment. The picturesque surroundings invite you to wonderful excursions. The nearby Starnberger See and the Bavarian Alps are only a stone's throw away. The space Our charming (90 m² - 969 sq ft) apartment, featuring stylish parquet floors, provides all the comforts you need for a restful stay: · Bedroom 1 (18 m² - 194 sq ft): Here you will find a restful sleep in a comfortable double bed (180 x 200 cm) with two high-quality mattresses and an additional single bed (90 x 200 cm). For our youngest guests, we are happy to provide a travel cot for babies up to 2 years old upon request. · Bedroom 2 (14 m² - 151 sq ft): This room is ideal for couples and features a cozy queen-size bed (140 x 200 cm) and a single bed (90 x 200 cm). · Living and Dining Area (27 m² - 291 sq ft): Relax on the high-quality leather couch or enjoy meals together at the spacious dining table, which can accommodate up to 6 people. A 45-inch HD TV with a diverse selection of programs provides entertainment. · Kitchen (12 m² - 129 sq ft): The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. Here you will find an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer, as well as a basic supply of groceries such as oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, pepper, flour, various types of tea, and coffee (with a French press). · Terrace (35 m² - 377 sq ft): The spacious terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the sun and let your gaze wander over the extensive garden. Comfortable seating and a dining area invite you to linger outdoors. Children can let off steam in the garden and play to their heart's content. Good to know: · Laundry room: A washing machine and dryer are available exclusively and free of charge. · Heating: The central heating ensures cozy warmth even on the coldest days (no air conditioning). · WLAN: Enjoy fast WLAN throughout the apartment with download speeds of at least 50 Mbit/s up to 250 Mbit/s. · Interim cleaning: For longer stays (from 14 days), an interim cleaning with a change of bed linen and towels every 7 to 10 days is mandatory for 149 euros per cleaning. The dates for this can be arranged by appointment. · Oktoberfest visitors: Please note that traveling to Munich city center by public transport may take a little longer due to the limited bus service from the nearest S-Bahn station (one bus per hour). Plan your Oktoberfest visits accordingly to avoid waiting times. Alternatively, you can drive to the city and park there in a parking garage. For the return journey, it is recommended to leave early in the evening. · Children: Children of all ages are very welcome in our apartment. · Security: For security reasons, the entrance area is video-monitored. · Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the entire apartment. However, you are welcome to smoke outdoors. · Parties: Parties are not allowed in our apartment. However, you are welcome to invite up to 10 people for a cozy get-together with friends or family. There is enough crockery available. · Pets: Pets are not allowed in our apartment out of consideration for guests with allergies. Guest access The apartment is self-contained and comprises the entire ground floor of a two-family house. You'll have the ground floor all to yourself. In the basement, there's a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer that you can use at any time. There are also some locked storage rooms that are not accessible. You'll be staying in a rural setting, in a typical Upper Bavarian village with about 500 residents. A very nice family with young children lives on the upper floor. Please be considerate of the family from about 8 p.m. onwards. The neighborhood is very quiet, so we ask you to refrain from playing loud music or making noise in the garden after 8 p.m. Of course, you're welcome to enjoy a relaxed get-together with normal conversation levels on the terrace. We recommend you arrive by car. There is a bus stop nearby, but the bus only runs about once an hour from Starnberg (S-Bahn station) to Hohenschäftlarn (S-Bahn station) and back. You can park your car at either of the S-Bahn stations and take the suburban train to Munich, which runs every 20 minutes and takes 25 to 30 minutes. By car, you can reach Munich city center in about 25 minutes. The motorway access is only about 1 km (0.6 miles) from the apartment. Since the apartment is also used privately when it is not rented out, some cupboards are marked as private and are not available for your use.
