Be welcome to one of Sofia's first and most iconic Airbnbs! Remodeled, reshaped and renewed! This is an unusual apartment for unusual people! It is artistic, quirky,with lots of small and big details, designed with much love. A place that has its own soul and character. It is a very cozy place where you can feel the charm and taste of Sofia. With this apartment,we express our love for vintage and restored old furniture,for small gems from flea markets and of course for you, our guests! The space We combined a great location (direct connection with the metro from the airport and the train station) with our love for old and restored furniture, small "treasures" that we found in different antique shops around the world, and amenities such as a great coffee machine and a stylish hi-end vintage gramophone with a great selection of plates. We tried to create the atmosphere of Sofia from the last century. You will find interesting books, and art pieces and will also step on an originally restored 1930's wooden parquet. We would love to give you our best advice for visiting some of the best locations in and around Sofia and give you tips for the best places to try delicious Bulgarian cuisine. We are sure that you will appreciate our passion for the small details. Walking along Pirotska Street you can reach just in 10 minutes from the biggest and oldest Sofia open market "Jenski Pazar" where you can buy fresh vegetables, and fruits and enjoy an unforgettable atmosphere. 15 minutes walk or 1 metro station away take you to the Bulgarian parliament and the biggest Bulgarian church -"St.Alexander Nevski". Many small shops and one of the biggest malls ("Mall Sofia") are in the neighborhood. A good choice of cozy restaurants and bars is close by. There is a metro station ("Opalchenska") 50 meters from the building. The building is situated in the old center of the city, just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the government buildings and the main sightseeings of Sofia. This flat is for people with a good taste who can appreciate and preserve the good quality and atmosphere. It is not for people who are searching for luxury stays - that's not what we offer. It is a quirky, artistic, and colorful apartment with a real atmosphere and its own soul and character. Guest access 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 2 restrooms, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom. Other things to note Important notes before you book: In September 2024 the municipality has started a big renovation of „Opalchenska“ street and its pavement. The renovation will last until the end of March 2025. There is a little noise due to the construction works during the working days between 9 am and 6 pm but in the apartment itself, you can’t hear almost anything. The apartment is situated in an old building from the 1960s (like most buildings in the neighborhood) . Facade of the building and roof are fully restored . The elevator is an old one too but it has a brand new motor and ropes and is being inspected every month. Important: Check-In is possible after 3 pm onwards (we offer a very convenient self-check-in system). If the cleaning schedule allows we can offer a slightly earlier check-in but earliest from 2 pm. The checkout time is always strictly until 11 am.
