Wiveton is a charming village set on the banks of the River Glaven. This former port is steeped in history and features a medieval church as well as a great pub and cafe. There are plenty of wonderful walks to enjoy in the area, with Wiveton Downs offering some excellent views. The lovely nearby coastal villages of Cley next the Sea (2 miles) and Blakeney (1.5 miles) are both famous for their wonderful nature reserves which are a haven for keen birdwatchers. The space From Blakeney Point you can take a boat trip out to see a colony of grey seals. The popular seaside town of Cromer is just 12 miles away and offers plenty of traditional seaside holiday activities.
