Through an inner hallway and down one step is the cosy lounge, with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and a warming wood burner for the cooler months. Upstairs, there is a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a four-poster king-size bed and en-suite shower room and one twin. Head outside to enjoy the enclosed gardens with a patio area, a small stream, and a lawned space beyond. Children should be supervised due to the stream within the grounds. Attractions in the area include the World Heritage Site of Blaenavon (7.5 miles), known for its industrial heritage and home to Blaenavon Iron Works, The Big Pit National Coal Museum, and a heritage railway. For a great day of indoor and outdoor activities, head to Llangorse Multi Activity Centre (11 miles). Nearby Crickhowell (1 mile) is a great base for walking, canoeing, cycling, or fishing. For keen hikers, the highest point in the National Park, Pen y Fan (19.5 miles), is waiting to be climbed.
