The Perfect Area to enjoy Nature without buying all the Camping equipment! HAWTHORNE offers a pop up shower, portable Loo, 5 gal water cooler,firewood, queen bed & bedding, picnic tables & access to yard games. Access to Miles of groomed hiking trails Our tents are perfect for 2 but bring along extra sleeping bags & you can sleep 2 more on the big tent floor or let us know if you need a pop-up tent for extra room. You will walk-in from a parking area. Wagons are provided for your supplies. The space Primitive Camping with some added Glamour. You will be in an area that is ever changing with the seasons. This area is perfect for those that enjoy all that Nature has to offer. From Bird and Wildlife Watching to Hiking. Each tent has a “Luggable Loo” with bags, a Pop-Up shower that can be set up on the outside deck or on the ground, a battery charged fan and a small puck light. We also provide fire wood and insect repellant for our guests. For those with small children there is room for a couple sleeping bags on the tent floor. If you have tweens and teens let us know and we can provide a 2man pop-up tent. It’s Primitive so No WiFi service & No electrical Outlets available. We have recently opened trails for horseback riding and added a horse corral and small fenced pasture for those that enjoy trail riding. Let us know if you will be bringing your horses along. Guest access Parking, Tent Sites, and miles of marked hiking trails. Guests also have access to Yard Games that are stored on site. Other things to note Our place is located a few miles from the Missouri River for fishing, 7 miles from Homer that offers Good Roots coffeeshop as well as Good Roots Massage and Wellness. We are also about 12 miles from Landmand Golf Club. Hawthorne Tent is closest to the parking lot. Just a short walk down the trail. We provide wagons for each guest in the parking area for hauling your supplies to your tent. Also please note to get to the tent there is about 7 miles of gravel from the highway. It can get muddy when we get a lot of rain, but is still drivable.
