Minutes to Bluemont Vineyard, Dirt Farm, and Bear Chase. Come sit on the porch. Bring wine. The space Welcome to Creekfield Welcome to Creekfield, our beautifully renovated historic farmhouse in the Virginia countryside, where the charm of the past and the comforts of today come together to create a peaceful and memorable retreat. The original wood floors and historic log walls preserve the character and story of this special home, while thoughtfully chosen furnishings, modern bathrooms, and a mix of vintage and contemporary pieces make the space comfortable, warm, and inviting. Relax & Enjoy the Outdoors Creekfield sits on 5 peaceful acres with beautiful views and plenty of room to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. The brick-paver patio features a dining table and grill, perfect for enjoying a meal outside. On the side patio, gather around the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs and take in the peaceful view of the pond. The front porch is one of our favorite places to start the day. Grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and watch for deer and other wildlife that frequently wander through the property. The property is located on Paxson Road, a quiet country road that is wonderful for walking and mountain biking. Although Creekfield feels peaceful and private, there are neighboring homes visible from some areas of the property, and you may occasionally see a car passing by. The Kitchen The farmhouse kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay, including cookware, serving dishes, a blender, toaster, and more. Coffee lovers will appreciate the Keurig coffee maker, with K-cups provided, as well as a full pot of coffee to get your morning started. The farmhouse dining table comfortably seats six and is the perfect gathering place for meals, games, conversation, and making memories together. The Cabin Room The heart of Creekfield is our cozy living room, affectionately called The Cabin Room. This room is part of the original historic log cabin dating back to the 1700s, making it one of the most special spaces in the home. With plenty of natural light, a comfortable new sectional, and a cozy reading nook, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Gather around the wood-burning stove, curl up for a movie, or challenge your family to a board game. The 50” Smart TV is equipped with Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, and more. There is also a dedicated desk space for anyone who needs to work, write, or catch up on school during their stay. Bedrooms All three bedrooms are located on the upper level. Primary Bedroom The primary bedroom features a king-size bed with a comfortable mattress, soft luxury bamboo linens, a custom wood dresser, and a Smart TV. The en suite bathroom features a large walk-in shower and a beautiful soaking tub. Windows in the room offer lovely views of both the front and back yards. Bedroom 2 Bedroom 2 features a full-size bed with a comfortable mattress and fresh, cozy linens, along with a Smart TV and closet. A full bathroom is conveniently located just outside the bedroom door. Bedroom 3 — The Bunk Room The bunk room is a favorite with kids and features twin-over-twin bunk beds. Please note that the top bunk is accessed by a ladder. A full bathroom is located just outside the bedroom. All of our beds feature comfortable mattresses and cozy, eco-friendly luxury bamboo sheets—one of the little details our guests consistently love. Bathrooms & Laundry The first-floor bathroom includes a walk-in shower with a refreshing rain showerhead. You’ll also find a small closet stocked with additional amenities for your convenience. A large washer and dryer are located upstairs in the hallway just outside the primary bedroom, making longer stays easy and convenient. If stairs are a concern, there is a comfortable couch and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower on the main level. Comfort & Entertainment Creekfield has complimentary Wi-Fi and Bluetooth music players so you can stay connected when you want to—or unplug and simply enjoy the quiet. Our newer HVAC system provides multi-zone heating and air conditioning, controlled by an Ecobee thermostat. During the colder months, we encourage you to enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the wood-burning stove. We provide plenty of complimentary firewood for our guests. A Few Things to Know Because all three bedrooms are located upstairs, Creekfield may not be the best fit for guests who have difficulty navigating stairs. A full bathroom and sleeping space are available on the main level if needed. For your safety, please do not enter the attic or rustic basement cellar. These areas house HVAC and plumbing equipment and have low ceilings and steep stairs. Our No-Pet Policy 🐾 We love dogs—really, really love dogs! But we’ve learned that welcoming pets makes it difficult for us to maintain the exceptionally clean and comfortable experience we want every guest to have. For that reason, Creekfield is a strictly no-pet property. We truly appreciate your understanding and helping us keep the home at the standard we strive to provide for every guest. Stay Awhile Whether you’re looking for a quiet weekend in the country, a place to gather with family, or simply a chance to slow down and reconnect, we hope Creekfield feels like a place you can truly settle into. Enjoy a morning coffee on the porch, spend the afternoon exploring the property, gather around the fire in the evening, and end the day cozying up in the Cabin Room. Planning a longer stay? Inquire about our long-term stay discounts. We can’t wait to welcome you to Creekfield! Guest access Guest will have access to the entire property except for the garage/sheds Other things to note A Few Things to Know Before Your Stay If you’re looking for a comfortable, stylish farmhouse with cozy beds, thoughtful amenities, plenty of outdoor space, and room to relax and explore, Creekfield is the perfect place to stay. We do ask that our guests treat the farmhouse, property, and neighbors with care and respect. Creekfield is best suited for guests looking to enjoy a peaceful country getaway—not all-day or late-night drinking parties. If you’re unsure whether your group will be a good fit for a quiet, residential setting, we may not be the right property for your stay. Our home is currently pet-free. We love animals, but we do not allow pets at Creekfield. Because Creekfield is a 200+ year-old farmhouse surrounded by nature, you may occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife and country critters during your stay. You might see anything from ladybugs and stinkbugs to deer, and occasionally other wildlife. Our housekeepers and pest-control professionals work diligently to keep the home clean, comfortable, and well maintained, but a little bit of country life comes with staying in a historic farmhouse. Please note: All three bedrooms are located on the upper level, along with two of the three full bathrooms. The third full bathroom is located on the first floor. If anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs, please keep this in mind when booking.
