Enjoy the island life at this family friendly retreat, with a fully stocked, modern unit and stunning views. Nature watch from the balcony as the tides flow over Rathtrevor beach and the birds and deer explore the creek, and stroll down to the beach which is accessed straight from the property! The space Our unit has been recently renovated and includes all you'll need to make your stay comfortable. Enjoy the privacy of your own place, with waterfront views (sunsets are magnificent) from the balcony or living room. The kitchen has all the equipment you'll need, and we have supplied some extras for our guests such as pool toys and folding chairs. Some games, puzzles and a mini library will help you unwind and enjoy this home away from home. The large bedroom has a king-size bed, with a single-size flip out sleeper chair. Do note: the couch does not fold out into a bed. We've also provided a portable crib (pack and play) for small babies and toddlers. Relax in the soaker tub, with in-floor heating in the bathrooms, or enjoy a night in by the fireside. In the summer we'll set up the AC unit so you can stay comfortable year round. We have stocked the unit with earth-friendly products (like LiveClean) and use cleaning products that also earth safe (like Method), wherever possible. Guest access Guests have access to the indoor and outdoor swimming pools & hot tubs, sauna, pickleball courts, shared BBQ area, kids playground, fitness room, pool table and more! Bikes, kayaks and other equipment can be rented through the hotel, pending availability. Rentals are typically only available July and August. There are beachside decks, picnic tables and sitting areas and lots more to explore. The property also boasts a spa, and restaurant for nights when you don't feel like cooking. Monthly indoor pool and hot tub closure occurs on fourth Monday of each month. The outside kiddie pool and hot tub closes on each Thursday throughout the day, but typically opens by late afternoon. *Do note, we do not supply pool/beach towels, and the hotel has changed their policy to not hand out towels to non-hotel guest. Other things to note Travelling with young kids? We know what that's like and have provided a pack and play (foldable crib) that you are welcome to use, to free up your trunk space. Because this is our family vacation spot, we treasure these items and ask that you treat them gently and leave them behind (you're welcome to take books with you under a "take one, and leave one" policy!)
