Enjoy morning coffee watching the fog fade, peaceful evenings from the front porch as the sun sets over the pond, and stargazing in the tranquil darkness. A very central location to nearby shopping, restaurants, hiking, and kayaking. Perfect for couples wanting a quiet getaway or small families looking for a mountain retreat. A cozy and relaxing place to unwind in the mountains. The space The Cabin has a total of four rooms. As you enter through the front door, you are in the Main living area. This consists of a large open room with the living room on the right side and dining area on the left. Through the dining area is a complete Kitchen. Past the Living room area is the Bedroom. The Bedroom also has the bathroom and shower (which are separate) at the back of the cabin. The original hardwood floors and rustic wood walls combined with the updated interior, make this cabin a cozy, warm place. A large covered front porch overlooks the spring fed trout pond. The Host lives in a brick home on one side of gravel road. The Cabin/Pond is on the other side. Road is used by homeowners in the area, not a main road. The Cabin sits on three acres adjacent to Host’s home. Adequate parking and sidewalk leading to cabin. Pond 100ft away from Cabin front porch, pergola at backside of pond, apple orchard and stream at the back of property bordering parkway. Guest access Guests will have access to the full cabin. Guests may also use the pond for fishing. It is a trout pond with catch and release only. Swimming is strictly prohibited. Guests may also use the pergola, which has two swings, and Apple orchard. Everything on Cabin/Pond side of road is accessible. Other things to note - Host has two friendly dogs and goats with electric fence to stay on that property. - Host also has cats that like to roam but very friendly. - No swimming allowed at pond. - Watch for snakes when around pond. It is a natural environment for them to hang around rocks and at water edge. - Local eatery and bar is within walking distance of the cabin. - Cabin only has one bed. Couch is not a fold out but an inflatable mattress will be available with sheets and pillows if requested.
