Upon your entrance to our covered front porch, you will find rocking chairs, gas grill and our beloved hot tub which provides an awesome view of sunrise with your cup of joe or subtle lighting for those hot tub nights. Inside you will first be greeted by our beautiful entryway with plenty of storage for shoes, wallets, keys and bags. Our hope when creating this open floor plan is to create an atmosphere for all to gather no matter what you're enjoying. Our kitchen is stocked enough to prepare any family meal and to better serve you, we provide a starter supply of coffee, tea, water, popcorn, waffle mix, and syrup, so you can relax and enjoy your first night without running to the store. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level. A king room, queen room, and a twin trundle room. The twin room also offers a desk, pack and play, high chair, and other child safety items. The main level bathroom offers 2 large vanities and a unique 6 in 1 shower panel featuring waterfall, rainfall, mist spray, body jets, tub spout, and a hand-held option. For guest convenience, we supply body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Our main level back porch entry offers plenty of seating and storage for all gear. The basement offers a private retreat with a king bedroom, bathroom and laundry. We are rural, but there is Starlink WIFI for internet that is fast enough for video calls and streaming. Please keep in mind that speeds tend to vary. Usually, speeds run between 70 mbps to 220 mbps of download and 10-20 upload. Our backyard features glorious hayfield sunsets, fire pit with outdoor seating and patio (seasonal cushions). We hope to add more outdoor features in 2024. Guest access Guest have access to the entire home front yard, and back yard, however you will notice there is locked owner and housekeeper storage in the basement. The fields and barns are leased to horse owners and are not accessible to guests. However, you are able to enjoy watching the horses' play and the amazing views and sunsets. There is a shared driveway. The driveway is used by guests, horse owners, and landscapers. Horse owners usually stop by once per day for less than an hour. Occasionally, they may leave a truck and trailer on their side of the driveway for several hours in order to go riding. There is a collapsed barn on the horse owners leased area and we ask that guests stay out and monitor children for safety. Leased areas and barns are monitored by security systems and cameras. There is a pool in the back yard and is currently closed. We are hoping to refurbish, but at this time, it is closed, and we ask that guests stay out and monitor children around the pool for safety. The pool is 4 ft tall with no steps to enter. Other things to note Please note this is a farm stay. 1. We have well water. We use a water softener. The fridge water is filtered and there is hard well water available via the small tap at the kitchen sink. 2. We have a dirt/gravel driveway, which can be muddy after rain or during the spring thaw. 3. We have snow plow services and our cleaner helps shovel, but if it snows during your stay, you may need to shovel your car out and a path. We do provide a shovel and salt. This is part of the farm life experience. We hope those interested in getting away to the peace and quiet will enjoy these little quirks.
