Apartment on Sunny Hillside and panoramic view

Our apartment is an idyllic, peaceful location on a south-facing slope and offers a 40m² terrace with a unique 180°-view of the entire Tennengebirge mountains and the Lammertal valley. The loft-like living space is flooded with sunlight and brings the unique mountain panorama to the fore. The apartment, which was only built in 2020, is comfortably warm in winter (underfloor heating) and pleasantly cool in summer. A desk for workation stays and a fully automatic coffee machine are available. The space The Radochsbergloft is located in Tennengau, Salzburger Land, on a south-facing slope of the Radochsberg at an altitude of approx. 910 m. The picturesque village of Abtenau, the "Pearl of the Lammertal", with numerous shopping and dining options and an outdoor pool is just a 10-minute drive away. Your vacation apartment is also your starting point for numerous activities in Salzburger Land: all kinds of sports activities such as mountaineering, hiking, climbing, skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, summer tobogganing, cycling, rafting, swimming and much more. In addition, lakes, picturesque villages and towns (e.g. Salzburg, Hallein, Bad Ischl, the Postalm, Werfen Castle or Hallstatt) invite adults and children alike to discover them. You can reach the Dachstein-West ski area in just 6-8 minutes by car. A panoramic cross-country ski trail is right outside the door (please ask if it is groomed). The large living and dining area is loft-like open, flooded with sunlight through the large terrace windows and unconventionally furnished. The two bedrooms are directly accessible from the living room and offer the opportunity to sleep in the fresh mountain air thanks to shaft windows. There are small TVs in both bedrooms and a large flat-screen TV in the living area. The kitchen, which is open to the loft, offers enough space for your creative cooking skills and a fully automatic coffee machine (for beans, we are happy to help out if you haven't bought any yet). If you don't feel like cooking, we have great restaurant tips in every category, from simple to gourmet cuisine, for you here in the area. The large south-facing terrace, which extends the free space into nature, offers plenty of room for sunbathing, eating, yoga, thinking, reading, working or meditation. From there, you have a unique view of the entire Tennengebirge mountains from the eastern to the western end with the Lammertal valley in front and into the Tauern mountains. In just 5 minutes you can reach the summit of the Radochsberg, from where you also have a panoramic view of the Dachstein and the Bischofsmütze. Your hosts, Sabrina, Johannes and their two children, are usually at home one floor up and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about your stay. Guest access There is a private entrance via the terrace; all areas are accessible, an intermediate door into the hosts' living area is closed. Other things to note In winter, snow chains may be required to access the property. Please check with us in advance if necessary. For guests aged 15 and over, a tourist tax of € 2 is payable separately on site.
