The space Nestled in a peaceful garden beside our home and flower fields, the Flower Farm Cottage offers a calm, comfortable place to unwind and enjoy the simple beauty of country life. Just 3km from Oakura’s seaside village, you’re close to walking tracks, cafés, a pub, black sand beaches and great surf. New Plymouth’s galleries, coastal walkway and shopping are an easy 15 minute drive away. Inside, the cottage is cozy and well equipped, with full kitchen and a covered porch overlooking distant sea views - perfect for a quiet morning coffee or relaxing at the end of the day. Two bedrooms offer restful sleeps: one with a queen bed, the other with a king single, plus a king single fold out couch for an extra guest. The cottage sleeps up to four. Close to Egmont National Park, evenings often bring the call of native Ruru, and sunrise arrives with birdsong drifting through the trees - one of the rural charms that make this place special. You may also hear the gentle sounds of neighbouring lifestyle farms, from tractors to cows or lambs. Please note: the property is not safely set up for children and is best suited to adults. Guest access Guests have full access to the whole cottage which includes cosy living and dining rooms, well equipped kitchen, 2 private bedrooms and large bathroom. Please note, while we invite you to relax on the covered porch and enjoy the peaceful surroundings with a glimpse of flower field ahead, this is a working flower farm and farm tours are not part of the accommodation. Fresh flowers in your room upon arrival however is! Other things to note Heads up, we have friendly dogs on the property. While quiet for the most part, they will likely bark when you arrive, just being curious and saying hello. Don’t worry though, we’ll make sure they stay out of your way so you can enjoy your stay in peace. If you have any questions or concerns about our dogs, just let us know.
