The space Our home is a harmonious blend of Japanese elegance and rustic charm designed to accommodate 6+ guests with great comfort. Interior boasts exposed natural wooden beams, vaulted ceilings, and expansive windows showcasing panoramic forest views – 5 sizable and thoughtfully designed bedrooms; truly the perfect gathering spot for friends, families, and large groups. –––––––––– Living Room: Large relaxing space featuring a hand-laid stone fireplace and comfy seating Dining Room: Gather around a handcrafted, artisanal dining table to enjoy meals in peaceful surroundings Bedroom #1: Master with queen bed + bathroom Bedroom #2: Top floor with queen bed + lookout Bedroom #3: Single bed with additional futon floor mattress + balcony Bedroom #4: Twin bed with desk/office Bedroom #5: Ground floor with a double, fold-out couch bed (not updated/shown in photos) – popularly used as supplementary lounging or a convenient quarters for children, elderly, and/or individuals who may experience difficulty with stairs Private Sauna: Immerse into relaxation and unwind to the therapeutic heat of a custom-built sauna (4-6 guest capacity) Outside: Spacious backyard to explore endless greenery featuring a large deck (ideal for entertaining or kids to play and pets to roam free). Make use of the BBQ grill for outdoor meals and entertainment or head over to the fire pit to enjoy s'mores under a quintessential pacific northwest wood canopy boasting campfire-style seating. Last but not least, closest to the sauna, is a koi pond with a narrow wooden bridge leading out to a balcony with a tandem wooden swing – breathtaking for morning coffee, afternoon tea, or an evening read. Other things to note PSA / Safety Considerations: While the entire log house is a work of living art, safety is of the utmost importance. Certain features such as narrow/steep staircases, elevated platforms, and delicate artworks could pose risks for unattended children. Additionally, the unique layout and eclectic stylings may present challenges for individuals with physical disabilities and/or impairments as some areas might be difficult to navigate without assistance.
