Description

Imagine a place where you arrive and immediately feel the embrace of tranquility. Our apartment is a cozy retreat in the heart of Salvador, designed for those seeking to rest, renew their energies and live special moments with lightness and comfort. A space that conveys peace, ideal for slowing down and enjoying the best You will be welcomed by three cute cats — Bernard, Ramsés and Aimée — and an attentive host. This is a home, not a hotel. Comfort and simplicity at your disposal. The space 🛏️ About your stay: aligning expectations before hosting You are about to stay in a real house in the heart of Salvador – more precisely in the 2 de Julho neighborhood, known for its bohemian, black activism and rich cultural life. Here, you will find a home full of affection, tranquility and genuine exchanges, with space to work, rest, talk and live authentic experiences of the city. 🌍 Local experience When you stay here, you'll have access to valuable tips about the spaces frequented by the black population, with personalized suggestions on where to go and how to get there. I can help you with guidance and good conversations (sometimes with wine or beer – which are charged separately). But it's worth remembering: I'm not a tour guide and I'm also in the routine of life. If you want personalized itineraries and follow-up, we can talk about prices and availability. 🎭 Salvador from the inside Unlike many people think, living in Salvador in a deep way requires presence, connection and investment – yes, even we who live here pay to enjoy parties and attractions. I can help you find more affordable options, but not free, okay? 🏠 About the space The apartment is my home, so here you will find the simple comforts of a home, not the services of a hotel. The house is shared with me and my three cats (Bernard, Ramsés and Aimée), so it is important that you do not have allergies or discomfort with animals. You will have access to the entire house, with respect and parsimony, of course. We can cook together (sharing the ingredients), visit local artists, walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the beauty of MAM Beach, which is just a few steps away. 🛌 About the Room The room is single (I only host ONE person for safety), with a double bed, internet, fan, small office and wardrobe. There are trees nearby, so repellent incense will be available for possible mosquitoes. You can sleep with the doors open, as the climate here is pleasant and airy. 🍳 The kitchen The kitchen is available with basic utensils so you can prepare dishes from your place of origin or try Bahian cuisine. The ingredients must be purchased by you, but cooking here can be a delicious and affordable experience in the Bahian way. ✨ And more… Here, affection is in every corner. Bring lightness, respect and willingness to live Salvador with soul. Oh! And let me know your arrival time in advance — it's essential for a good reception. I'd love to have you! Guest access 📌 House Rules — important for a good stay 🏡 You have access to the entire home. No limiting spaces — feel truly at home! ✨ I only ask that you keep everything organized as you found it: – Clean kitchen after use – Dry and usable bathroom – Toilet lid lowered 🚪 Don't slam the entrance gate and never leave it open. This avoids risks such as theft or violent approaches. 📲 When ordering an Uber, do it from inside the building and only leave when it arrives. It's an important safety measure. 🐱 We have 3 cats. They are domestic and are not used to the street. Be careful when coming and going so they don't escape. 🔐 As soon as you arrive, I'll give you the keys and explain how the alarm system works. All this is to ensure a peaceful, safe and respectful stay for everyone. If you have any questions, just call! During your stay 🌞 Interaction with Guests I love hosting people from all over the world and exchanging experiences! Whenever possible, I like to chat, share cultural tips and, if you like, even cook something typical of Bahia together — like a good vatapá or a moqueca full of palm oil and affection. You'll have to bring the ingredients, but I'll provide the Bahian seasoning! I can also accompany you on tours of Salvador, especially places that are important in the history of the city's black population. Affective itineraries, full of history and beauty. But I'll make it clear: these tours are charged separately, as they require time, preparation and travel — we'll agree on everything beforehand! If I can't go, I can put together amazing itinerary suggestions with local tips and paths outside the “tourist basics.” The idea is that you experience Salvador with depth, respect and enchantment. Please let me know in advance if you'd like to include these experiences in your stay. It will be a pleasure to share the city with you — the Bahian way, with affection and axé! Other things to note 📌 Important information for your stay 1️⃣ You will be in downtown Salvador — a vibrant area, full of history and culture. Your arrival and departure will be smooth, but as in any big city, pay attention when driving around, especially at night and in relation to people living on the streets. 2️⃣ If you come by subway, call an Uber from inside the station, without going out onto the street. The trip to my house costs, on average, less than R$20, and this measure is for safety. 3️⃣ The house is yours during your stay, but common sense is essential: • Use water consciously — we are not alone in the world! • The house is well ventilated; avoid using the fan during the day to help with energy costs. 4️⃣ We have 3 beautiful, domestic cats. Don't leave the main door open. When entering or leaving, close it immediately to prevent them from escaping. 5️⃣ Hygiene is key. After going out, take a shower before lying down or sitting on the bed. This practice is respect and collective care — and is already part of our new normal. 6️⃣ Please let me know your arrival time in advance. I can't wait all day without a forecast. If you don't let me know and I need to leave, the cost of your trip to the house will be at your expense. If you have any questions, I'm here! It will be a pleasure to welcome you with affection and respect. 💛
