Not too far for R&R

A straight shot up to UF and a simple right turn, left turn to Shands. We welcome short stay guests but also midterm rentals. Let me explain… The space We are literally "Not Too Far". "R&R" is a term my father used all the time. A military term for "Rest & Recuperation". Dad was never in the military but both he & Mom are retired nurses. This is their home and it's use is their legacy. Mom & Dad would offer R&R to discharged patients. These folks would stay with us for a short time before heading home farther away from the hospital. Btw…Mom & Dad lived here for nearly 40 years. They are now living nearly responsibility free across town in a retirement community! So, more about the house… other than the garage, you have complete access to the whole house and fenced yard. We hope we've thought of everything but please let us know if you need more than the following: >Plenty of fresh towels & wash cloths >Shampoo, conditioner & body soap >Kitchen gadgets for preparing meals >Utensils & basic spices >Cutting boards >Sharp knives >Drip coffee maker, filters, cream & sugar >Coffee, tea & cocoa >Microwave >Ironing board & iron >Extra blankets >Board games & cards The television is a 65” smart TV with Roku. We have a fenced in yard for your pet to explore and ask that you pickup after your pet. Also enjoy walking the neighborhood with your leashed pup. At the very back of our neighborhood is a park with equipment, community garden and trails. It might also be important to mention, we have a designated desk space. Located in the 3rd bedroom. Send us a message for any special requests. We'll do what we can to make them happen. We want your stay to be the very best. Guest access You have access to the entire house minus the garage. Other things to note We ask that our pet owners pick up their pup poops from the yard. Bags are provided. Please, for the health of all our canine guests, leave the yard sanitary. Housekeeping does not patrol the yard. We feel this is a responsibility of all pet owners no matter where you are. Thanks for being good pet owners! *We limit our pet family to one canine. Additional pets or other breeds can be added for an additional $50/pet. Limit 3 pets.
