The Bower: Lush Tropical Garden: birds galore

Our home on a tree filled property is situated directly opposite the beautiful Glenbrook Lagoon, a 20 minute walk to Glenbrook village and train station .The pool, pub, bowlo and restaurants are just a few blocks away . With half acre of lush vegetation and a winding creek running through the property spanned by numerous charming bridges, we are home to a huge variety of wildlife and birds including King Parrots, Rosellas, Lorikeets and bower birds. A truly unique slice of paradise in Glenbrook. The space The Bower is a delightful and private garden studio situated on the opposite side of creek to the house. There is a kitchen and bathroom accessed through the attached private yoga/dance room. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and a lounge that converts to a double bed, and we have now added a new large corner Lounge suite with a pull out sofa bed in the attached dance room. We can also supply a portable cot and bedding for infants. However, if you need more privacy and space with older kids or friends coming along, our beautiful renovated vintage vans Doris and Vanda are set up right nearby with sumptuous king sized beds in each that you can add if available. Contact host before booking to discuss bedding options and to add the extra charge for vans if required. In the Bower, TV is provided with access to Netflix in the bedroom. There is also a tv and dvd player in the attached dance room, with loads of great dvds to choose from. The heavily insulated large bedroom with aircon, ceiling fan and wall heater provides all year comfort. The studio spills out to a delightful deck and yard with beautiful views of our stunning garden to enjoy. Delight in the colourful parrots and be intrigued by our resident bowers birds antics. With beautiful bush walks and bike trails on our doorstep, and the lagoon across the road, your stay at The Bower is sure to be a unique experience. FYI. Glenbrook lagoon is in the top 10 bird watching spots in the mountains. Check out eBird site on Internet. We often have photographers on our driveway spotting the birds on the lagoon and surrounds. 🦆 Parking: we have off street parking for multiple cars and larger vehicles can be accommodated. Handy for work vehicles and our sporting guests. We also have safe areas to park and leave your bikes. Exciting news; our beautiful new listing called Frog Hollow Guest suite is ready to host and will be available from September. It’s on opposite side of the creek. Guest access Large bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, attached dance room/loungeroom, deck and gardens. Please note. The Queen bed and a pull out sofa bed are in the bedroom. Room for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children in bedroom. Extra needed? The attached dance room/lounge now has a big corner lounge with another pull out sofa bed. A double floor mattress is also available. The laundry is on side veranda of main house with external access for your use. There is now a small washing machine in the utility cupboard in the dance room for smaller loads and a clothes line attached to the side of the studio. Other things to note Kitchen will be stocked with tea and coffee, milk and various light breakfast choices. If you have special dietary needs please bring with you. We are a short walk to pool, pub, bowling club and variety of restaurants. Glenbrook town about 20 minute walk. There is a small convenience store 10 minute walk around lagoon.
