A stylish modern room above the rice field with a private bathroom and balcony in a modern 2-floor guesthouse. Developed with an understanding of expectations of the modern travelers such as freelancers and digital nomads. The room has a working desk and a wall-embedded Wi-Fi router/socket. You can take a seat with a laptop on the balcony, at the bar chair downstairs, or near the pool. The location of the guesthouse is just 650 meters (2 minutes) from Ubud main street. The space There are 8 rooms in the guesthouse and this one is the closest one to the rice field on the second floor. The balcony is very big and wide and that means you can enjoy the view of the rice field from the two sides while feeling the nice breeze. The pool view is also available right under the balcony. You will find in the room a comfortable queen-size bed, desk, wardrobe and two bedside tables on both sides of the bed. Before the room, there is a private patio space with a small round table and 2 chairs. The room has a private attached 2-zone bathroom that matches the modern standards of hotel bathrooms. The WiFi is available. The shared space includes the pool, kitchen, and garden with a beautiful view of the ricefield. You will find beanbags near the pool as well as high chairs along the outside wall that have a tabletop from the inner side and can be used for the work. Guest access The guest house is located at the end of the small hidden gang and there is no parking available for cars at the villa or in the surrounding area. Other things to note Due to Bali's tropical climate and occasional unexpected heavy rains, the pool may sometimes change color within just a few hours. This can even happen overnight or shortly before check-in. If you face such a case, please let us know, and we will be happy to promptly assist with a treatment. The pool recovery process can take 4-48 hours, and we aim to restore your comfort as soon as possible. Bali is experiencing an investment and building boom and there are a few buildings around that are ongoing. That means you can hear the noise during the daytime (until sunset). You can reach the central street (Jl. Raya Ubud) by walking (9 min by walk according to the popular map) but the road doesn't have pavements, please be aware of that. Please be informed this is a house in the tropics near the rice field. That means different insects, especially ants and moths, may easily and fast appear. We provide regular and thorough cleaning but you need to understand that ants can appear within a few minutes. In such cases, please use repellent (we have it in the kitchen) or contact us for extra cleaning. Also, please note, that we have a light near the villa but the alley itself can be dark in the nighttime. We recommend using a flashlight. In every Balinese house or villa from time to time, you can notice geckos. They usually appear on the walls and ceilings and can spend hours there, expect different small insects. In most cases, they have a size of up to 10 centimeters but sometimes they can be bigger. They are not dangerous and are a part of the Balinese cultural identity. Because of that, you can often see the gecko symbols on the gates and walls of Balinese houses. According to some traditions, the geckos in the house are a symbol of family happiness and harmony. Please note, we can do nothing about geckos and they live outside or in small cracks and can always penetrate the house. The deletion of one of them doesn't lead to their absence. After an absence for a day or even a few hours, that's quite likely that you will find traces of the presence of the geckos (dust, small lumps of earth, waste products) on the surface of the floors, chairs, beds, and tables. If you found such traces and need help, inform us and we will make an extra cleaning.
