The space Nestled in Fortuneswell on the Isle of Portland, our lovingly restored Victorian stone cottage is a cosy base for Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. Enjoy sea views across Lyme Bay, a secure garden, and a 6-minute walk to Chesil Beach and the South West Coast Path, perfect for walkers, families, couples, sea-dippers and dog owners. Inside the Cottage Ground Floor • Welcoming hallway leading to a cosy sitting room with Fire TV, board games, and puzzles; perfect for relaxed evenings. • Dining room with a cosy electric feature fire and a bookshelf of local reads. • Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, double gas oven, microwave, fridge and everything you need for home cooking. • Utility area with washing machine, toilet, and washbasin. First Floor • Spacious bathroom with large rain shower, a separate bath and heated towel rail. • Main bedroom with king-size bed and partial sea views. • Twin bedroom with practical storage and coastal touches. Second Floor (Loft) • Light-filled double bedroom with panoramic sea views across Lyme Bay. • Smart TV with Firestick; ideal for a quiet night in after a day outdoors. Family-friendly Little ones are welcome. A highchair and travel cot are already in the cottage, plus step stools, children’s cutlery and plastic crockery. There’s also a small selection of family games and children's books. Please bring your own cot bedding. Outdoor Spaces • Enclosed rear courtyard garden (secure for dogs). Accessibility: Please be aware that due to the cottages’ historic character, the stairs are quite steep and may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility issues or for unsupervised very young children Security: for your safety and security, an exterior security camera is located on the property, monitoring the entrance area. Dog-friendly details • Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome (£25 per stay). • Dogs are downstairs only. • Please keep dogs off furniture (unless fully covered with your own throws/blankets). • Dogs shouldn’t be left alone in the cottage unless safely crated. • Please supervise dogs in the garden and clear up after them. • We provide small dog bowls, dog towels and poo bags, so you can pack a bit lighter.
