Ancient house with courtyard in the village

The town of Vernole is located in a strategic position for visiting the beauties of Salento. Less than 15 minutes away is Lecce, which will never cease to amaze you, Otranto can be reached in less than 30 minutes, and then Nardò, Maglie, Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca and dozens of other beautiful towns. For the sea you will be spoiled for choice, between sand and rock. The Cesine nature reserve is just a few minutes away by car and many other seaside place are within easy reach. The space We fell in love with this ancient large house and renovated it without altering its history, maintaining its ancient flavor. There are 5 bedrooms, partly overlook a courtyard equipped with sofas where you can relax while enjoying the beauty of the stone structure and the cool of the evening. The living area, with lounge, kitchen and dining room overlooks the garden at the back of the house, where a pleasant 6x3 metri swimming pool (it will be opened when it's warm enough ,generally around the beginning of June) allows you to cool off during the hot summer days and built-in sofas invite you to relax . The bathroom are 4 ( 3 with shower ) and there is a second small living room , whit a kitchen, equipped with a sofa that converts into 2 beds . In the garden there are 2 showers with hot water and a cooking area equipped with an electric hob and a dining table. All spaces are equipped with air conditioners. Some rooms have a wardrobe space, others a stand to store clothes. You will find some of our items in the house because we love spending part of our holidays there. Guest access The house is entirely available to guests, and the terrace with sofas and dining table will soon also be available. Other things to note In one part of the house we have created a second open kitchen, so as to possibly be able to make a part of the house independent and accommodate 4 ( 2 + 2 ) people independently. There are 5 double bedrooms, one of which has an additional sofa / single bed. Another 2 beds can be had using the sofa bed in the small living room with open kitchen, for a total of 13 beds, even if we think that the ideal number of people, to be able to live well in the house, is 10. There are 4 bathrooms, one of which is en suite. The bathroom overlooking the garden has a window, the others have an extractor. One of the double bedrooms has a tall window with electrically opening glass. As in all ancient houses in Salento, all the rooms are communicating with each other.
