The space This newly renovated 2-bed, 1-bath getaway occupies the entire main floor of our home in Aurora, Colorado. Guests also have access to a large fenced-in backyard, grassy area, and patio area, which is shared with the hosts, Alex & Jake, who live downstairs in a private suite with their dog and use a separate entrance. Here are some of our favorite highlights: Amazing Kitchen: Our Chef's Kitchen comes with everything you need to cook up an amazing meal. Stainless steel pots and pans, cooking & baking utensils, coffee, tea, and other staples. Top appliances, three ovens, and a large stove, with everything you need to host a dinner party in our formal dining room. Great Location: An ideal base camp to start a trip to Colorado and explore Aurora, Denver, and the Front Range area. Located 5-10 mins to the University of Colorado Medical Campus; 10-15 mins to the University of Denver, 15-20 mins to downtown; 20-25 mins to Denver International Airport. Hosts/Local Guides Your hosts have explored Colorado extensively and filled the unit with guidebooks, visitor tips, and fun ideas on what to do and where to go next. Find local hikes, hidden gems, our favorite spots to eat, and more. Dedicated Workspace: This is a great spot for remote workers, especially digital nomads and traveling nurses at the nearby University of Colorado Hospital Campus. Work at a large desk with lots of sunlight, connect to high-speed Wi-Fi internet and use our complimentary printer/copier. Cozy Living Room: Enjoy your favorite movies and shows on our flat-screen 55" TV, with Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Peacock, and more. Check out one of the games, puzzles, and books we provide. An ideal spot to rest and recover after treatment at the nearby UC Hospital or Colorado Children's Hospital Parking & Laundry: We provide 5 off-street driveway parking spots and an in-unit washer, dryer, and laundry supplies exclusively for your use. There is additional free street parking available. _________________________________________ _________________________________________ Guest access Here are some details about accessing the spaces available to you during your stay: Self-Check In: Guests enter the space using the main front door, accessible with a key kept in a Lock Box on the front door handle. We will share the access code with you by message 1-2 days before your arrival. Private Home:The main floor of the home is yours. The front door is your private entrance. The space includes a foyer, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, formal dining room, spacious living room, washer and dryer, and the front porch sitting area. Shared Backyard: The backyard fenced area is shared with your hosts, who live downstairs in a separate, private guest suite. Enjoy the fire pit, BBQ grill, hammock, and furniture. Dog on Property:We have a friendly 3-year-old doodle (dog) who lives with us in the separate garden-level unit. We keep her out of the backyard when guests are staying with us. However, If you are a dog lover, let us know; she loves to make new friends. If you are allergic to dogs or have a severe fear of dogs, we do not recommend staying at our home. ____________________________________________ ____________________________________________ Other things to note PLANNING YOUR ARRIVAL: Airbnb will send you a home Arrival Guide 2 days before your check-in time with more information about your stay. You will receive check-in instructions and access code 24 hours before your reservation check-in. Here are some additional policies to be aware of before booking. PLEASE REVIEW OUR POLICIES BEFORE YOU BOOK: PETS: We allow one dog or cat per reservation. Additional pets are considered on a case-by-case request. Additionally: • A $25/pet Cleaning Fee must be paid before check-in. • Must be house-trained, well-behaved, and friendly. If disruptive, you may need to remove your pet. • Pets must be supervised by you at all times or crated if left alone. • You will be charged for any damage or harm caused by your pet(s). Emotional support dogs are not exempt from pet fees. Under Colorado law, it is a criminal offense to misrepresent an animal as a service animal. (C.R.S. §18-13-107.7.). EVENTS: We do not allow large gatherings/events in this space. However, we may allow small gatherings/events with 10 or fewer people if you get pre-approval. Please contact us with more info before you begin planning any gatherings. GUESTS:In addition to those staying overnight on your reservation, you may have up to 5 additional visitors without pre-approval (you are responsible for guest behavior/damage). FILMING: Commercial filming or photography is prohibited in our Airbnb without written pre-authorization. Please contact us before you book if you are interested in filming or photographing in the space for any commercial purposes. SECURITY CAMERAS: This home is secured with ADT monitoring, including security cameras installed in the front, back, and side yard, and in front of the driveway. None of the cameras can see into the home. SMOKING: There is no smoking inside the home. We allow smoking in the fenced-in backyard area (the patio is 4/20-friendly). If you smoke inside the home, we reserve the right to charge a $500 cleaning fee to your credit card on file. LATE FEE: Our check-out time is 11 AM MT. We have a 15-minute grace period for those running behind. For guests who check out 30+ minutes late without pre-authorization, we reserve the right to charge a late fee to your credit card on file at $100/hour (3 hours late: $300 fee). Guests who spend an extra night in the home without prior authorization will be charged $500/night to your credit card on file. REFUNDS: We provide refunds for cancelled reservations five days or more in advance. We do not provide any refunds beyond this point.
