The Barger Wixon House is a family home in the foot hills of the Hudson Valley, built in 1790. A 3 bedroom house with 2 living rooms, a proper dining room, a large eat in kitchen with all the provisions you could need for a big family dinner. Enjoy the attic hang out spot that is a great play area (toys included) and or movie night! With a big finished patio, heated pool, hot tub, and multiple grilling spots you won't need to leave the homestead! Unless you want to go to Cold Spring for coffee. The space This is our family home. There are two living rooms, dining room, kitchen, grilling, attic with TV and toys, three bedrooms - 2 with king beds and 1 with queen. In the queen room these is a pack and play folded up in the closet. There is a hot tub and heated pool that is fixed to 82 degrees. It may get hotter on hot and sunny days but that’s the max set temp. Guest access Please feel free to use and explore anything. We have locked some spaces with our private belongings. We also have some person items there if you need something clarified just ask! :) Other things to note Please note: This is an old house in a historic town. We do have power outages from time to time. We have a house full of lanterns, wireless fans, flameless candles and games! In the event it’s a major outage we have a generator available with easy instructions. Our hot tub is awesome, but very quirky. We do ask that you don't touch any of the buttons aside from the jets. Temperature cannot be adjusted. In the event the hot tub trips we will ask you to go to the basement to reset the fuse. The pool is heated but fixed at 82 degrees on hot sunny days it’ll get warmer than 82 but never below!
