Perched at the intersection of 4 tidal bodies of water, this serene, waterfront home with mature gardens is a secluded haven, yet a short drive from shops and restaurants of nearby villages of Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, and Wiscasset. The space The house is tranquil, minimalist, and updated with modern amenities. Many windows and skylights bring in the breathtaking water views to the open living and dining rooms, and kitchen. The adjoining screened-in porch is a pleasant place to relax, allowing in the ocean breeze. It has the best views in the house, with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors on 3 sides. The master bedroom, den, and a bathroom with shower are on the ground floor, and two additional bedrooms and a second bathroom (with tub) is on the second floor. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. If needed upon request, the 2 single beds can be combined into a king bed (with king sheets and mattress cover). The multilevel deck with an outdoor sofa, dining table and barbecue steps down to the backyard, where you can relax on Adirondack and hammock chairs. A short path leads to the house's private dock. Take an early morning kayak among the cormorants, heron, bald eagle and seals; sail to a nearby island; fish in front of your own property. Spend the afternoon reading your favorite book in the hammock, while glancing at the glistening water. Take a day trip to the nearby Monhegan Island, play mini golf with the kids, or try your hand at pickle ball in a nearby Boothbay court. Visit one of many excellent nearby restaurants, or enjoy a homemade dinner inspired by an array of international cookbooks. Eat on the deck with the sounds of birds at sunset. Play a board game; curl up in the den streaming a movie on the 55"HD TV; and finally retire with your down pillow in one of the 3 bedrooms. Guest access Please refer to the Arrival Guide for details at check-in. Other things to note The house has four kayaks and a paddle board for your use. Please use life vests at all times. We also have 4 sling chairs kept close to the dock for your use and enjoyment. All photos are from the property. The driveway is steep. The garage and basement are not accessible to guests.
