It has a modern kitchen and bathroom, but retains its 120 year old charm through exposed floorboards, log burner, and high ceilings. The garden is a sun trap on a journey to a tropical paradise and has banana palms growing as well as lovely herbs, which you are welcome to use. The house is bright and airy and and situated on a road that is remarkably quiet for a location so close to central Bristol. Nether Park is at the end of the street (perfect dog walking park), and the well known St Georges park is 10 minutes walk. The property is 8 mins walk from Lawrence Hill station, which offers a subsidised service to Clifton Downs for £1.50. The virbrant neighbourhoods of Easton and St Werburghs are also easily reached on foot. Round the corner is the UK's smallest coffee shop, 3ft 6, which does fantastic coffee and cakes, whilst Church road is a measly 3 minute walk where you'll find a selection of pubs and cafes (Bristol Loaf is one to try!).
