The Old Cottage Bakery

The Old Cottage Bakery is a newly renovated ground floor apartment with private outdoor space with hot tub in the beautiful coastal town of Lyme Regis. Centrally located for all amenities yet only 3 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the harbour. The space Steeped in history, The Old Cottage Bakery is the newly and sympathetically renovated ground floor of Pitt House, a former hotel, bakery and home shop. The open and airy modern space offers comfortable accommodation for 5, plus an infant. We welcome families with one well behaved dog but kindly request that you cover the sofas with the blankets provided. Private access is available through the patio doors to the rear of the property or via a shared entrance hallway to the front. The cosy living space offers a sofa with chaise, rocking chair and two giant bean bags for relaxing in front of the wood burner. There is a smart TV with freeview channels and with the ability to access your favourite streaming services. (Although we are currently unable to get bbc 1 and bbc 2) The living space opens to the kitchen and dining area. The newly fitted kitchen has all amenities you would need to make self catering as painless as possible to include a single oven and electric hob, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. The hand crafted dining table will seat 6, adding to the sociable feel of the open plan design. There are bi-fold doors to the outside space where you will find comfortable seating to enjoy the views of surrounding hills and coastal sounds. Bedroom 1 is a spacious room with a kingsize bed, chest of drawers, dressing table and hanging rail. Bedroom 2 is a comfortable room with a triple sleeper (double bed with a bunk single overhead) with under-bed storage and a dresser. There is a TV with the ability to access your streaming services or to connect external devices (none provided). Both bedrooms could accommodate a travel cot. The bathroom has a walk in rain shower and a second, hand held attachment. There is a washing machine in the utility cupboard, along with an iron, ironing board and hoover. Free parking for one vehicle is available in the adjacent NCP car park. Please note that we do not have an allocated space so we must be advised of your arrival and departure times at the beginning and end of your stay to avoid unnecessary charges being applied. Guest access Private access is available through the patio doors to the rear of the property or via a shared entrance hallway to the front. The flat is contained thereafter, and access to the garden is solely for the use of guests in The Old Cottage Bakery. Other things to note The adjacent flats are residential, please be mindful of this and respect our neighbours. Thank you
