This self-contained studio-style space is a sanctuary for those seeking a true country getaway. Guests can venture out to the banks of the river and relax with nature. If you crave peace and tranquillity with the convenience of exploring the nearby beaches and the unique experiences of the Northern Rivers, this is the perfect choice for you. The space Separated from the main dwelling by a quaint walkway, this space comfortably accommodates two people, making it an ideal spot for a cozy stopover, a weekend retreat, or a week-long exploration of the area. The central room features a plush King bed, a lounge area with a smart TV, and a convenient desk for any remote work you may need to tackle during your escape. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to indulge in the joy of simple country cooking, complete with a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, fridge, and a Nespresso coffee machine. Essential pantry items, such as coffee pods, a selection of teas, milk, sugar, salt, and pepper, are provided. A charming dining area complements the kitchen, and a separate bathroom includes a washer/dryer for your convenience. Step outside your front door to find a baby Weber BBQ. No matter the season, your comfort is assured with reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans. The main room extends onto an enclosed veranda, where guests can relax on a day bed and listen to the abundant bird life. From the veranda guests can venture out to the banks of the river and watch the daily flight of cattle egrets against the backdrop of a sunset over the water. Keep an eye out for koalas in the gum trees and enjoy the symphony of birdlife, including Fairy Wrens, Honey Eaters, King Fishers, and Sea Eagles. During your stay at Yeagerton School House, you're within easy reach of fantastic beaches, impressive rainforests, and waterfalls. Take day trips to Byron Bay and its hinterland, discovering unique galleries, cafes, restaurants, and markets. The historic river town of Coraki, just a 3-minute drive away, provides essentials for your stay. For the adventurous, two mountain bikes are available to explore the surrounding countryside. A personal vehicle is essential, as there is no public transport in our area. Guests can use the main entrance driveway, and dedicated parking is conveniently located right at your front door. Guest access The property operates as a working Sugar Cane Farm, and your hosts, Geoff and Vicki, reside onsite in the adjoining family home. While the main house pool and tennis court are not available for guest use, feel free to take the folding chairs supplied down to the river and relax with a cool drink or a picnic. Access to the tidal river and tidal swim is at your own risk. Other things to note • Good phone reception with Telstra; other providers may vary. • Free Wi-Fi with reasonable speeds. • Helmets for bikes are supplied; their use is at your own discretion. • Septic system: We kindly request that you DON’T flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet. • Solar power is utilised for energy efficiency.
