Welcome to our charming 3-bedroom Rustic Ranch house in Cuba, New Mexico! Our cozy & comfortable home is in the heart of Four Corners/Central NM region, offering opportunities for adventure and exploration. A place to call home while you explore the surrounding areas. Full kitchen, laundry room, & high speed internet. Outdoor adventure and exploration: hiking, hunting, bird watching, off-roading, read, nap, yoga, hot springs, meditate, stargaze, views of the beauty of the San Pedro Mountains The space Ross and Josie's Rustic Farm House was a vibrate farm with chickens, cows, a horse, goats, sheep, dogs and cats, critters, and views from every window and the porch! Restoring the farmhouse with its a unique, picturesque location, and cozy outdoor seating areas allows for very peaceful area, easy access to the Jemez Mountains, Chaco Canyon, Bandelier National Park. There are some neighborhood dogs, horses, cows, wild life coyotes, deer, and lots of different type of birds! Dogs are welcome with a pet fee. This fee is solely for our cleaner, who has a very hard time leaving the place clean without a little extra consideration. The South Bedroom has a California King Tempur-Pedic Foam mattress, new wall heater, Northwest bedroom has a queen bed, extra blankets in closet, and the third bedroom has a full size bed and a twin bed and a comfortable full-size couch for another 1 to sleep, extra blankets , sleeping bag in trunk. A nice wood stove and two furnace as well bedrooms. The bathroom is spacious with the shower and bath with new shower tile. Laundry room with new washer and dryer. The farmhouse is very comfortable. Low clearance/2WD cars should have no problem on this road, and most other cars, and bikes should be able to make it. It does get muddy and snows. Why we call this a "Rustic" experience even if it has all the modern amenities, a narrow ramp with mobility issues or guests, the two furnaces in the bedrooms, but it could get cold. There is a wood burning stove in the living room for heat in the middle of the night during colder months (late October-March/April). There are extra quilts in the closets, the King size bed has an electric blanket if you are cold (use at your own risk). Then when gets warmer time of year (May-September) it can get hot. We get all four seasons. Rural living is rustic! There is wind, heat, sun, cold and small critters! You must put ALL food away or you WILL invite mice. Make sure to dispose of trash properly in the metal ben on the south side by the fence. Bug spray, sun block, and layers. We have a rural septic system, so please only toilet paper. We have two security cameras one point at the gate and the other at the sheds. Restaurants: Prescilliano’s Cafe, Chaco Grill, Del Prado Café, El Bruno’s Y Cantina, Mel’s Drive Thru Chicken and BBQ, Cuban Café, and Local Saveway Grocery Store Market if you forget anything. The nearest gas station is 5 minutes, 3-4 miles away. and Last, Ross' Outhouse with his artist warnings is use at your own risk, it also has a great view of the mountains :). Josie's washer is for authentic and not useable. Guest access The whole house, one closet is locked host storage and marked. The ranch sheds in the back are not part of Airbnb and marked. Other things to note It's the country the electricity does go out sometime and so the stove clock and internet might need to be reset or calibrated, but usually its pretty smooth. The neighbor's horses and cows roam the land, please refrain from petting them, etc.
