Perfect for a relaxing getaway that feels like home! The space Relax in this cozy one bedroom rental apartment located in beautiful Bristol Vermont, known as the "Gateway to the Green Mountains!" The apartment is one floor located in the basement of our home. Guests have their own private parking space and the entire apartment to themselves. For ski and snowboard enthusiasts, your stay will be easily accessible to many Vermont ski resorts: (4 wheel drive and snow tires strongly recommended when snow is expected) ~ 24 mins to Mad River Glen ~ 32 mins to Mt. Ellen & Middlebury Snow Bowl ~ 36 mins to Sugarbush (4 wheel drive and snow tires strongly recommended when snow is expected) ~ 49 mins to Bolton Valley ~ 1 hr 13 mins to Smuggler's Notch ~ 1 hr 13 mins to Killington & Stowe Guest access Guests have their own gravel parking spot for one vehicle in the front yard. Private, separate access to the unit, and use of the backyard. Other things to note There are two twin beds in the bedroom that can be pushed together into a king-size bed. The 3rd guest will have options to sleep on the couch that reclines or a cot. Feel free to use the unfinished portion of our basement for your bicycle or ski storage. We have the gravity grabber ski racks set up to hang your skis and we have a drying rack to hang your ski/snowboard gear to dry. We have four chickens and two ducks 🦆🐔! The coop and run are at the bottom of the backyard and the flock will be contained in the chicken run when you arrive. Of course let us know if you would like to see them or leave them out to free range. Our backyard is fully enclosed with a green wire mesh fence so feel free to let your dog enjoy the yard. We have two adirondack chairs for you to relax outside and enjoy the view. We have a small duck/goldfish/frog pond at the bottom of the yard. Please make sure your dog doesn't swim in the pond. Thank you! Children: Sorry, this space is not ideal or safe for children until 12 years old. We have no pond fence, the space has concrete floors, and a sloped backyard which can get slippery after rain. We also do not have safety latches for kitchen cabinets.
