We built this home in 2023 after spending over 40 years coming to Manzanita. My husband's great grandmother bought a house here in 1901 and generations of our family have enjoyed this hidden gem of a town. As our family has grown, we decided to build our own dream vacation home with everything we felt a family could want for a beach retreat. This is an excellent choice for multi-generational vacations and we hope you love it as much as we do! Location! Location! Location! It doesn't get better than this. If you want to be able to hear the ocean in the backyard but still be close to restaurants, shops, the city park and everything else--this is the spot. 2 minute walk to "Little Apple Grocery Store, Manzanita Winery, Wild Organic Grocery Store, Left Coast Siesta, and much more. 5 minute walk to the City Park to play tennis, pickleball, basketball and play on the playground. 5 minute walk to the beach--less if you ride one of our bikes! The Space: 6 Bedrooms/5 Bathrooms 3 Bedrooms are King beds and 2 of them are ensuites with their own gorgeous bathrooms and heated tile floors. 2 bunkrooms--1 is custom-built with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds overhead. Each bed has its own night light for reading in the evening. The other bunkroom is 2 full beds, 2 twin beds and a pullout twin trundle bed. 1 Bedroom is a Queen bed and sleeps 2. Kitchen:  Huge open concept kitchen is setup for even the most discerning chef! Large 6-burner stove, double wall ovens, 2 built-in garbage cans, extra refrigerator in the garage, top of the line Moccamaster coffee machine, and massive island that seats 8 people! Dining room table seats up to 12 for those epic "Settler of Cataan" nights! We cooked our own Thanksgiving dinner here for over 15 people and the prep space and amount of serving dishes was excellent! There are also 2 crock-pots, a blender, toaster, and much more... Living Room and Outdoor Living Space: Massive living room with gorgeous stone gas fireplace and large chess table looks out to the ultimate outdoor experience. Huge covered patio with built-in heaters, hot tub, BBQ and so much more. Walk out to the cobblestone firepit and enjoy s'mores and a game of cornhole in your oversized backyard--a rarity in Manzanita. Need to unwind after your walk from the beach? Take a soak in the large hot tub while you stare up at the stars and listen to the sound of the ocean. Downstairs you will also find a large area to hang all your coats and various items, 1 full bathroom with a shower and heated tile floors as well as an office/bedroom with a top of the line Tempur-Pedic King size pull out bed and another full bathroom with shower. Upstairs: Oversized sectional couch for kicking back and enjoying a movie or sports event. Pop-a-shot for an epic adults vs. kids battle, Golden Tee arcade game and a large closet full of various games, toys and books for all ages! Garage You'll find a ping pong table, EV car charger, extra refrigerator, extra washer/dryer, set of bikes, beach chairs and wagon and lawn games including cornhole, yard dice, molki and more!
