La Vieille Grange: your countryside getaway!

In the countryside, 1.5 hours from Paris (train station 2.5 km away), this Percheron barn renovated by an American architect offers all the necessary comfort. With family, friends or for professional stays, with an area of 110 m² with its 3 bedrooms, it will allow everyone to have their own space and then meet in the cathedral room! Remake the world, doze off, cook or if you prefer to get some air, go to the bottom of the garden or to the state forest (2 km) which will welcome you with open arms! The space On the ground floor: • An entrance, • A bright cathedral-style living room, • Fully equipped kitchen: induction cooktop, dishwasher, Senseo coffee maker, dishes, "survival kit", hygiene products..., • A laundry room with a washing machine and clothes rack, ironing board and iron, • A bedroom with view and exit to the garden: a 160 x 200 cm bed, • A shower room/toilet. Upstairs: • A landing with a sofa bed offering two beds and a small office area, • A first bedroom with two 90 x 190 cm beds, • Another bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed and private bathroom/WC. Guest access You will have access to the entire accommodation. A wooden carport is also available for a vehicle and a small meadow at the bottom of the garden can accommodate your horses if you are riders. Other things to note We provide wood to fuel the Vosges stove. The beds will be made upon arrival. We also provide towels, dish towels. Cleaning is not charged. Thank you for respecting the house as much as possible and leaving it clean upon checkout. Vacuum cleaner, broom, "Vileda" broom, and rags will be at your fingertips! If you don't want to do the cleaning or don't have time, we will offer you a "cleaning package". Thank you so much for your understanding. For your waste, please think about sorting...: - recyclable waste is to be placed in the yellow lid bin, - behind the small wall, in the garden, there is a compost bin for biodegradable waste, - please take your glasses to a container (in Saint-Eliph, near the laundromat or in La Loupe, Place de l'Abreuvoir) - finally, the final waste is to be put in the black-lidded trash can. Before you leave the house, don't hesitate: • to tell us about any inconveniences, breakages, worries, problems you may have encountered • to leave us a note in the guestbook, on the blue cabinet.
