Cosy eco barn stay on 3.7 acres

A Little Slice of Heaven Is a place of healing, home cooked style or fine dining, with complimentary 1st morning English breakfast ingredients provided. Experience hot springs, waterfalls and national parks within 5-30 min drive. With lower humidity, and at 2800ft above sea level we are approx. 6 degrees cooler than the coast. Alec and Helen The space The main room downstairs consists of the kitchen, airy lounge space, good size dining area/work space and dvd player. The kitchen area has a full-size fridge freezer, large microwave, dual portable electric stove top. Toaster, and a selection of pans. The bathroom with full bath, rain shower, vanity, and Natures Head eco toilet is on the ground floor. The bedroom with king size bed, cosy reading nook upstairs. Both living areas contain a standing floor fan. The bedroom has natural cool air flow from 4 barn windows (all screened) one on each wall. The main downstairs room has airflow from three barn windows, the entrance door and the main roller door which also gives views of the front garden area. Guests have access to the out door laundry space at the main house. Guest access After driving through the main double gates you will see the Barn to your right. Your parking space is in the undercover carport that is attached to the barn. PLEASE CLOSE ALL FARM GATES EACH TIME YOU USE THEM. Thank you. Your choice of entrance is from the front left roller door or the side door around the corner of the barn. The key to the side door will be left in the lock for you. We will leave the roller door unlocked for easy luggage access. Please feel free to walk around the tracks which will take you through the quiet spaces at the back of the property. A beautiful place to sit, read and relax, watching and listening for the many birds in our little slice of Heaven. Other things to note Our place is 10 min drive from the little township of Ravenshoe Queensland’s highest town. Please note that all living spaces are non-smoking areas. The designated smoking area is outdoors at the back of the barn. Many thanks for your cooperation. Pet bookings ​Dog $50 per stay ​Cat $30 per stay ​Service Dogs with papers $20 maximum ​Dog bath $20 We have a large pet crate available for your pet if caged trained Dogs must be kept on a leash on the property, or on a dog runs provided. If your dog needs to go for a free run we can accomodate that, but our other pets need to be indoors first.
