Stonesthrow Townhouse, Leek Come and stay with us in the beautiful Market Town of Leek in our renovated 1863 Victorian Townhouse. We offer the perfect Town and Country Combination stay. Located on a quiet one way residential street, less than 120 metres from the Town Centre and all the amenities that come with that including fabulous bars, restaurants, boutique shops, markets and pubs. Both the house and the town of Leek are really dog friendly and dogs are allowed just about anywhere The space The house is a three storey townhouse and gives a stylish, quirky and comfortable vibe with lots of light and amenities. All the rooms are the same size with a simple layout that leads you everywhere easily. The living room can seat up to 6 with a 4 seater corner sofa and a two seater window seat and some fold out chairs if preferred. However, to spread out a bit, 3 or 4 would be more comfortable for a whole evening or watching TV. There is a second TV in one of the rooms. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, grill, toaster, kettle, washer dryer, dulce Gusto coffee machine, undercounter fridge freezer, double air fryer, 6.5l slow cooker, convection microwave and counter top mini dishwasher. The decor has a botanicals theme with a consistent colour palette that is well thought through and homely. Bijou and Bougie 🩵 Parking is on street and there are multiple easy options. You can usually park outside the front door free from 5.15pm to 8.45am or free in the car park at the end of the street from 3.30pm to 9.30am (you can extend thatbtime using the paybyphone app). If you're around in the daytime there are short stay, long stay or free on street parking options within a few minutes walk. There are also EV parking spaces in one of the car parks and are generally available. Guest access The whole house and outside courtyard are at your disposal with only a store cupboard out of bounds. Other things to note There is a large and beautiful park less than 300 metres away with a large floodlight skate park, children's park, plenty of space for dogs (plus a leisure centre with lots of sports facilitaties such as swimming, tennis, basketball, squash, gym and running *currently being refurbished*). There is a Park Run equivalent with multiple distances each Saturday at 9am. Leek is also great for Niantic Games such as Pokemon Go with a thriving community. There is also a play cafe for young children in toddler walking distance. We are close to Alton Towers, Peak Wildlife Park and there are lots of lovely walking and watersports spots such as Rudyard Lake, Tittesworth Reservoir, Macclesfield Forest, The Roaches, Luds Church and so much more...
