As far as location and the local area, we are situated conveniently in between Clayton, Concord, Walnut Creek, Martinez and Benicia to the West and Brentwood, Oakley, Antioch, Rio Vista, and Isleton to the East. There are plenty of local farmer’s markets, car shows, food truck nights, outdoor movie showings and summer concerts, depending on the time of year. Right in our neighborhood, take a stroll through Central Park and Central Addition Park, head over to the water at the Pittsburg Marina, or get quickly to the Pittsburg BART station for public transportation connections with the greater Bay Area and Northern California region. If you’re here to work, we are excited to continue hosting professionals in the steel industry from USS Posco, in renewable energy and wind turbines at Shiloh Wind Power Plant, in oil and gas working at the Shell Refinery / PBF Martinez, as well as our local traveling healthcare professionals at Kaiser Permanente Antoich and Walnut Creek, John Muir Concord and Walnut Creek, Sutter Delta Medical Center, and Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, as well as other offices. If you’re here for school or have children, Pittsburg High School, MLK Junior High School, and Marina Vista Elementary School are all within walking distance of our house. If you love hikes and nature, we’re close to Contra Loma Regional Park, one of Contra Costa counties largest dog friendly lakes, as well as the historic Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve, where you can explore inside a former active mining site as well as the Nortonville Ghost Town. For more serious athletes, Mt. Diablo and Mt. Olympia are down the street and provide two of the biggest mountain hikes in Northern California. Sherman Island, right across the river, offers a world class opportunity to try out or master kiteboarding, kitesurfing, windsurfing, windfoiling, and wingfoiling (call it what you wish!) nearby. If you’re here to play, the Toyota Pavilion is a quick drive through the hills for some of the areas best concerts, as well as Diablo Creek Golf Course and Boundary Oak Golf Course for a nice game of golf. West Wind Drive In offers one of the areas only drive-in movie theaters, and Concord Veranda offers an enormous IMAX screen for movie enthusiasts. For the more adventurous, nearby Gampod Combat Zone is the largest indoor airsoft arena in the world and Diablo Motocross MX Ranch, aka: Sand Hill Ranch, offers a family owned and operated since the 1970s, beautifully maintained motocross track for kids, beginners, and enthusiasts alike. For more serious wine enthusiasts, we’re situated in between world famous Napa and Sonoma, and up and coming Lodi - both 45 minutes drive away in opposite directions. We recommend Domaine Carneros and Prisoner Wine Company to the West and M2 Wines and and Oak Farm Vineyards to the East. No matter what you’re looking for, we’ll be excited to host you on your trip to the East Bay. Guest access You'll have a separate, independent entryway through a staircase with a digital keypad. You'll have access to our garage, backyard, and washer/dryer unit if needed. You can do laundry at our home for an extra fee.
