There is a network of great paths from High Dam (4 miles) which sits at the southern end of lake Windermere or you could wander to the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway, which is less than half a mile away, and board the train. Arrive at Windermere and hop on a cruise or treat little ones to a day out at the Lake Aquarium (3 miles). Just 6. The space 5 miles from your door lies the heart of Ulverston, a bustling market town with quaint cobbled streets and lots to explore. Head inside and find yourself in the open-plan living space where the kitchen, lounge and diner fit together perfectly. Get comfortable on the inviting sofa which sits by the wood burner and in front of the TV, great for cosy evenings in. After cooking up a storm in the spacious, stylish kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher, plate up at the dining table. Whilst the breakfast bar is great for gathering at with a cup of tea during the day, the table seats all guests so you can enjoy time together whilst you eat.
