It is the perfect place to host a family gathering or special event with 5 BR, 3.5 BA, 2 large living spaces, fully stocked commercial size kitchen with 10 seat large table to enjoy a meal and take in the lake views. Stocked with all the basic cooking necessities and serving needs. Highchair also provided. LIVING AREAS 2 different living areas equipped with Smart TV’s and comfortable seating. Now serves as extra sleeping with bunk beds, color changing string lights exposed brick walls, and interior windows that open and close for privacy. BACKYARD & LAKE Take the party outside where there is plenty of comfortable seating on the large, covered patio, glider swing chairs, a smoker/grill, a beautiful yard, fire pit, bench swing, yard games, and of course, the main attraction: the LAKE! There are 3 kayaks, 1 canoe, and life vests available for use, so take advantage and make a splash! Fishing: bring your own gear EV/ RV Charger: 1 -NEMA 14-50R 2 -30A RV outlets CONSUMABLES We provide an initial and reasonable amount of toilet paper, paper towels, and other consumables like shampoo, conditioner, dish soap and laundry detergent. Beyond the initial supply, our guests are expected to manage their own refills. PARKING Parking is available for 8-9 vehicles. We have two driveways one in front of garage and the other with covered carport next to propane tank. Parking also available in gravel area in front of house. SECURITY and CAMERAS: We have a security camera located at the front of the property at the garage, the front door, the back door and boat dock. No inside cameras! Lake Conditions & Water Access: Lake Placid has been fully restored, and the water is now at its normal operating level. Unlike many Texas lakes that experience significant seasonal fluctuations, Lake Placid is a constant-level lake, providing reliable waterfront access and beautiful water views year-round. The property features 215 feet of waterfront, a private boat ramp, dock, and bulkhead shoreline. Please note that this is not a sandy beach property and there is no gradual walk-in swimming area. Water depth along the shoreline is typically approximately 4–6 feet deep at the bulkhead. Guests looking to enjoy the water can fish from the dock, launch boats directly from the private ramp, paddle the provided kayaks, or enjoy the lake from the shoreline. Children and non-swimmers should be closely supervised near the water, and we encourage the use of the life jackets provided. RED BEARDs landing is a rock bar in the middle of the lake that you can swim to and rent paddle boards, enjoy live music, and have a cocktail. *HOUSE RULES* No smoking indoors. Respect quiet hours from 10pm to 7 am. Keep the space clean. Parties and events (including family gatherings, birthday parties and weddings) are allowed on site with pre-approval. Be considerate of neighbors. Number of Guest: Please make sure that the number of guest in your reservation is correct. There may be additional charges for additional guest not listed on the reservation count. Pets : Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome to stay with you for a $25 per night pet fee PER animal. A separate Pet Agreement will required to be signed prior to check in. Please keep animals off furniture and pick up after your dog in the yard. Trash Policy: To help us keep up with trash service schedules, we ask guests to manage trash responsibly during their stay. * Reservations of 3 nights or less are limited to one full large outdoor trash bin. * Reservations of 4 nights or more are limited to two full large outdoor trash bins. * Any trash that exceeds these limits must either be removed from the property by the guest or will be subject to an additional trash removal fee. * Please ensure all trash is bagged and placed inside the outdoor bins. Loose trash may result in additional cleaning charges. Additional Trash Removal Fee: $50 per extra bin (or actual cost of removal, whichever is greater). Enjoy your stay and have fun!
