Situated a stones throw from the Neuse River with views from each window in a historically registered 170 year old granite building in the middle of Wake County's finest recreational parks and greenways....this can't be beat!! Walls are 26" thick granite that was mined on the property...Parklike setting is like nothing else in the triangle.....trails, greenways, kayaking all around..in lake , river....biking on continuous greenway for 30 miles...big box stores 1 1/2 miles away... Surround yourself with 26" thick 160 year old granite walls... and perch yourself on a window seat looking out at the Neuse River and watching herons feeding in the morning mist...It is one of the only spots that is actually on the River in the River Mill...Opening the windows you can hear and almost feel the river as it rushes by....gorgeous herons feeding night and day, turtles sunning on rocks...a piece of paradise in nature close to town....and you can walk on trails for miles in the morning without crossing a street ..... Flat screen smart TV, high speed internet, land line, bose speakers for your electronic music library. I have a full kitchen for your use so I don't provide breakfast foods...There are oils, vinegars, staples ,spices in the pantry and some staples in the refrigerator for your use. The Neuse River, Falls Lake, the new biking/hiking/walking greenway along the Neuse River, close to 540, Wakefield, laundry access in building...The property sits on 23 acres of parklike grounds with much river frontage...You can fly fish in the river if you have a license. The gazebo is for owners only or long term tenants so please respect this limitation. I live in another condo here at the River Mill in the summer so I would be available to my guests if they need something. And happy to interact or not, whatever suits them. In the winter I live away so a friend of mine here at the Mill will be meeting the guests for me during my time away and handling any inquiries. This is the most fabulous place in the Triangle to live and I mean it...I left the magic kingdom, inside the beltline to come out here and I've never regretted the move...If you enjoy being outdoors this is paradise.... Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to see and so varied...you have the trails, the river, the lake. Quiet. Peaceful. Joyful. And so close to everything ...The World has come to us....Best Sushi, Thai and Italian less than 2 miles away...All the big box stores if you want them...a quaint little town of Wake Forest with its art galleries and antique shops... There is no public transportation...A car is needed to go most places except a bicycle works somewhat... For the safety of the people I’ve hired to clean and my neighbors who live in the condo I request that all guess be vaccinated with at least two vaccines. TV is a Roku Smart TV and ready for your streaming. I do not subscribe to cable tv. But I do have a land line phone, and high speed wifi. Breakfast foods are not provided...but a full kitchen is yours well stocked with staples..
