“La Mora”, villa with pool between Madonie and Cefalù

The views are breathtaking, not least the one from the panoramic pool. La Mora is wonderfully secluded, yet by car you can reach the nearest village (Collesano) and in twenty to thirty minutes the beaches of Cefalù and the surrounding coast. The space The villa, in an extraordinary panoramic position, is located in the Madonie park two kilometers from the municipality of Collesano. It is about an hour from Palermo, a city with an exceptional historical and architectural heritage, 20 minutes from the sea (Campo Felice and Lascari) and 30 minutes from the tourist center of Cefalù and its beaches. La Mora is therefore the ideal place to hike among the natural beauty of the Madonie and its medieval villages, while at the same time reaching the sea. The property covers about 8 hectares (80,000 sqm), which guarantee absolute privacy, within which an area of about 4,000 sqm belonging to the house has been fenced. The outdoor space includes: the swimming pool with breathtaking views of the coast that stretches from Palermo to Cefalù, an adjacent solarium and an area shaded by centuries-old trees; a belvedere near the house with gazebo and sofas; a large pergola with a large dining table, next to which is the barbecue. The house, built in stone as a farmhouse at the end of the nineteenth century with a brick addition of the early twentieth century, maintains its original layout, despite the substantial internal restyling, and is composed as follows: on the ground floor a living room with sofas, fireplace and large television (Netflix and Sky subscription); a delightful internal courtyard overlooked by the small internal kitchen and the larger outdoor kitchen (however covered and open only on one side) equipped with a traditional wood-burning oven; a large dining room; two double bedrooms, a study room with single bed, and two bathrooms. The upper floor consists of the third and largest double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Guest access Guests will have the entire house and all its appliances at their disposal Other things to note The pool is cleaned and checked twice a week. Guests will also be provided with pool towels. The closest village to the property (a few minutes by car) is Collesano, equipped with all the basic necessities (bar, market, food with local products, pharmacy, etc.) and just outside the town there is an agritourism-restaurant and an equestrian center where you can organize horseback riding excursions.
