Either snowmobile or Quad, you have the opportunity to start your trek directly from your cottage door by taking a private trail that leads to the federated trails. The space The Bûcheron is a log cabin typical of the first settlers. This beautiful piece-by-piece construction is warm and comfortable, designed to enjoy all seasons. Le Bûcheron can accommodate 4 adults but ideally 2 adults and 2 childrens. Well appointed with its living room with its wood stove to warm you up, kitchenette, a full bathroom with shower, a private room, a bed on the mezzanine (height restricted see photo) and a private spa accessible year . Each location enjoys free private parking and privacy by its location in the woods. Also each has its own exterior fireplace, BBQ, Spa, terrace and even a gazebo at the POD. Guest access La Rose du Fjord consists of more than 100 acres of land, mostly boreal forest, with all the biodiversity that this represents. The playground is great for outdoor activities, all seasons. In summer and autumn, you can enjoy forest hiking on the estate with its majestic views of the Saguenay Fjord. At the mountain lake, you can practice swimming, pedal boat or canoe. You can tease the Spotted trout (native trout) on our seeded fishing pond. One trout per traveler included per stay, an additional fee of 10.00/extra trout applies, all income is returned to the youth home in Sainte-Rose-du-Nord. In winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling or dog sledding are all offered directly or through partners as needed. In spring, much of the winter activities are practiced, but the season for maple syrup is fast approaching with the heat of the sun that invigorates us. You can observe a unique fauna and flora with the presence of moose, bear, wolf, coyote, deer, tetra, grouse (Perdrix), hares and many other species not counting the abundant flora.
