Nestled in the middle of a working cattle and horse farm in the Yass Valley, The Barlow Tiny House is the ideal place to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature. Enjoy breakfast inside or out, with surrounding views of the rolling hills.Take a wander and explore, and discover our kangaroo and wombat neighbours.If you are interested, we can provide recommendations on the best walks in the area, suitable for all abilities. The space Situated in a secluded paddock you have your very own private panorama to enjoy stunning views and the delights of the landscape. Take a bubble bath for one or two on the deck, with a bottle of complimentary sparkling wine and watch the sunset painted just for you. There are heaters on the veranda also, so no need to get chilly. Every detail of your stay in this home-away-from-home is taken care of with all our products sourced to support the local community. Enjoy the perfect countryside night’s sleep in a queen bed with comfy bed linens and cosy rugs. Fluffy bath towels, luxurious toiletries, reversed air conditioning, your own toilet facilities and lounging chairs are all provided in this home away from home. The kitchen is also fully equipped with 2 hotplates as well as a BBQ on the deck so you can self-cater easily, and garnish any meal with Barlow veggies, guests are free to enjoy, from the farm garden. Please note, we don't have WiFi but a phone signal is available. Guest access If you’d like to have a picnic by the Barlow Creek, or a packed lunch for a hike, just ask Robbie the owner and she’ll be happy to put that together for you as an added extra. Fresh eggs are also available (on request) from the farm’s resident chooks. Board games and a library are also there for our guests to enjoy, and in the evenings, you can light a fire in our fire pit, (when season permits). Other things to note Located 2.5 hours from Sydney airport, 1 hour from Canberra, 20 minutes from Yass, there’s so much to explore in the rolling hills of the Yass Valley. With endless unique food and wine experiences, abundant art, and history, come for a weekend or stay for a week, you’ll find plenty to entertain, and we’ll be happy to provide tips and recommendations for visits and itineraries to suit any interest.
