The space Designed for couples to reconnect with nature & each other. A tiny storybook evening awaits you in this thoughtful single-room wooden ski cabin. This love shack is a cute cottage dream with all the essentials for a perfect 1-2 night stay between hitting the slopes & shops. Be humbled by the forests beauty under it’s stunning 85ft tall canopy. Recharge with forest bathing & the deep sleep you’ll get thanks to the trees! ————— While you cabin and bathroom are private to you, please note that outdoor areas including hiking trails & 3 fire pits are common areas. Two hiking trails loop through the forest & by the fossil creek, moderate steepness. You may see animals like chipmunks, hummingbirds, salamanders, owls, bald eagles, deer, and the most elusive, foxes. Bees are present on the homestead. Make sure to give the animals space, don’t feed them or approach them, just watch & enjoy the wildlife! ————— Come prepared for the weather and stay on cleared paths. By booking you are acknowledging you are responsible for your own safety. ————— Garden-inspired outhouse 10 steps from your cabin. Mirrors, shelves & tons of natural light! The hiking trails & outhouse are common areas where you may cross paths with other guests. *Foot pump sink is NOT available in freezing temperatures, we substitute Hand Sanitizer. *Note there is currently no shower. 2L of drinking water is provided. ————— If you bring your fur friend along, the pet fee includes a XL dog bed, a dog towel and dog bowls for their food & water. ————— If you can, please take your garbage with you, the critters don’t like finding trash in the woods, and there is only a small trash can inside. Foot Pump Sink is ONLY available above freezing temperatures, then we substitute with hand sanitizer. ——— Access the fire pits safely. Do not pour water in the fire pit. ——— Please do not take our chopped wood we need it to heat our home through winter. Sticks are okay.
