The Hayloft

The Hayloft is a beautifully decorated 19th century stone barn. Recently refurbished, this creative, dog friendly space is just a mile away from the renowned surfing beach of Llangennith and closer still to the well known pub -The kings Head. Relax in your own living room with rustic oak beams and wake up in a king-sized bed. Enjoy a luxurious en-suite and a bonus kitchenette. Enjoy exploring our wild flower meadows where you can take in the breathtaking vista of Llangennith beach The space After a wintery beach walk with your dog or a sun drenched afternoon surfing on the famous Llangennith beach, delight in the comfort of our inviting and cozy living room. You may find yourself snuggling up on the sofa and enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book or settling into a good box set on Netflix. An interior of beams and reclaimed wood, dances with different tones and textures, creating a sense of calm and tranquility for you to enjoy. The Hayloft offers a luxurious, stylish en-suite with hot shower and toilet. Enjoy a bonus bespoke kitchenette made from reclaimed wood. Amongst all the wood you will find a fridge for your essentials, kettle and toaster and ceramic sink. The Hayloft has no cooking facilities but a selection of beautiful crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided for you to enjoy making your own breakfasts, lunches and cold platters and a G and T with the sunset. (The Kings Head pub is a 5 minute walk and serves great food and breakfasts if you fancy treating yourself) Enjoy waking up in a calm bedroom with king sized bed and the use of a stunning new en-suite. Leah and Chris have lovingly restored this barn with little touches to make guests smile; cable drum wood pallets make up the walls, drift wood foraged from the beach create toilet roll holders, along with hand crafted driftwood mirrors. Guest access Guests can enjoy their own private access to the Hayloft, which is a refurbished barn attached to the hosts main house. Through the entrance guests then climb a carpeted stairs up to the Hayloft. The property is set in 5 acres of land with 2 fields that guests can enjoy exploring and walking their dogs. Leah and Chris have recently planted an acre of trees to encourage more wildlife and are developing a wildlife recovery project on their land. Guests will have the Hayloft to themselves and an allocated off road parking space in front of the property. Other things to note The Hayloft has a kitchenette, so guests can enjoy making hot drinks and the use of a fridge and toaster only. Perfect for breakfast, lunch and cold dinners. The pub is 5 mins walk away and serves food all day and also does takeaways. There are no cooking facilities at the Hayloft. The Hayloft is attached to our house. Guests have their own private entrance and parking space. Please be assured that the Hayloft will be cleaned and sanitised to a high standard before your arrival. 🐾 We are dog friendly, please add in your dog to the booking and we kindly request a pet fee to cover this. FYO a security camera is located outside monitoring the car parking located on the stone wall. Beaches Gower is famous for its breathtaking beaches and there are a lot to choose from. Both our local beaches -Llangennith and Broughton are a mile away are dog friendly (5 minute drive) We have a lovable Labrador Binka who might come out and say hello. She is very friendly, but might bark and is just doing her job. Shops We are 10 minute drive from the nearest garage in Llanrhidian so planning ahead for supplies is essential. We recommend Mumbles as an area to explore and eat out in.
