If you love and are attracted to this house, most likely, you are also in need of an inner search for yourself. Welcome Home !! The space The Hermit is a 100-year-old house of the Dzay ethnic people. We try to retain as much of the ancient architecture of this place as possible. The house has 4 bedrooms, a cozy living room, a convenient kitchen with a lot of local spices collected. We have 2 separate toilets from your bedroom. Everyone in the house will share the common space, including the toilet, living room, kitchen, and garden. The Hermit is an ordinary wooden house, where people live together peacefully and help each other. This will help you fully enjoy the atmosphere and experience life in this place. If you want a perfect life of comfort, it will be difficult for you to find it suitable. We love small, simple things and appreciate the local culture, so a life in harmony with nature is what we aim for. The homestay is designed with a convection system, so you will fully enjoy the wind and the taste of nature. Location The house is located in a peaceful little alley with an easy-to-go road, so it will be suitable for motorbike and walking. If you go by car, there will be a parking lot at the top of the alley (with a fee of 50k/ night), the house is about 100 meters from the parking lot Great location for nature lovers, away from the 'modern' noise of the town. It takes 10 minutes to move up to bamboo forest The surrounding facilities are 200m from the house, including restaurants, dry cleaning services, Red Dao herbal bath services, handicraft shops, brocade clothing shops, beeswax painting workshops, indigo dyeing, herbal aroma and candle making workshops. Guest access The rustic design and the furniture in the house were collected during trips, so they are old, have emotions and are imbued with the color of time on each product. The garden is full of sunshine and trees and lots of little insects, with a quiet private area. Enjoy the wind chimes, the birdsong, and the leaves rustling in the wind, you can do anything to fully enjoy the present moment. Washing machine and laundry detergent are free. Please note that we only have wet laundry service, clothes will be dried naturally by the sun, in the designated area. If you want to dry clean, there is a service shop about 100 meters from our house, which charges 30,000 VND for 1 kg of clothes. We have free towels, please return them to us when you check out, tell our staff when you need extra towels and hair dryer. We charge a kitchen fee of 50k for one day of use, which is paid when you use fuel and spices in the kitchen. If you use the kitchen simply, to heat food and pre-process vegetables or you prepare your own spices, we will not charge you for using the kitchen. We have electric heating mats for low temperature days. The bathroom has a heater and a wood-burning stove in the house that you can use at your discretion, firewood is always available, and they are free. The late check-out fee is $5 (125k) and we can waive it for you if we don't have other customers that day, and you must inform us in advance. Other things to note Things to note: The house is 13km from the town, but we can help you book a car to go anywhere you want. We know how to make cakes and always have fresh cakes every day, so you'll always have food during your stay without going out to buy it. Everything will be priced in our menu. In case you need to buy things, the convenience store is 250m from the house. The kitchenette in the house you can cook your own food, it's free, when you use our spices, please contribute $2/ use. All the guests are happy about that. The garden has many trees and flowers that change with each season, our space is private and quiet, it is beautiful and peaceful even on foggy and rainy days.
