Mountain Sun Cabin w/Hot-Tub & EV Charging

This 1978 Gambrel boasts beautiful tongue and groove ceilings and has been tastefully updated with modern amenities while keeping the warmth of a mountain cabin. During the winter months the sun shines through the two story windows bathing you in natural light and giving the property its name. Situated in a mountain neighborhood the cabin is home to 17 gorgeous evergreens, a couple oak trees, two newly planted maples and a dogwood. Come stay, discover and fall in love with mountain life! The space Mountain Sun Cabin has EV charging and is: - 3 minutes to LuluBelle’s Coffee House & Bakery - 4 minutes to our lil town of Running Springs with a small grocery store, a few restaurants, gift shops, post office, library and Fluer de Mont apothecary with tea tastings. - 13 minutes to Snow Valley Mountain Resort with downhill skiing and snow play in the winter - 8 minutes to Rim Nordic cross country skiing in the winter and Mountain Biking in the sunmer - 7 minutes to Sky Park at Santa’s Village where there is snow shoeing and ice skating in the winter and mountain biking, zip lines, axe throwing, fishing and roller skating in the summer. Food and fun for the whole family. - 12 minutes to Lake Arrowhead Village with a big grocery store, lots of shopping, restaurants and Lake Arrowhead Brewing Co - 12 minutes to Crestline/Lake Gregory with bowling, shopping, restaurants and a big grocery store across from the lake. - 31 minutes to Big Bear & Snow Summit Ski Resorts, restaurants & shopping - 16 minutes to Green Valley Lake When you walk up the steps to enter Mountain Sun Cabin you open into the living room with a wonderful wood burning fireplace, a comfy leather couch and two stylish chairs where you can watch a movie or listen to a record play. This room is open to a fully loaded kitchen and a cute dining area where you can eat, play a board game or put a puzzle together. Twelve feet of sliding glass doors look out onto the front deck. Enjoy the gas grill and share some yummy food with friends around the outdoor dining table. Down the hall is a cozy bedroom with a queen size bed and a sliding glass door which leads you to an additional backyard dining area. Come soak in our Softub and bask in the fresh night air under the gorgeous stars and huge evergreens. Across from the bedroom is a full bathroom. Upstairs in the spacious loft a comfortable organic king mattress awaits. Snuggle up with a good book, take an afternoon nap or sleep the night away in the adjacent twin daybed. We love our Mountain Sun Cabin and are excited to share it with you. Come enjoy and discover all the amazing things mountain life has to offer. ⛰️☀️ Guest access Guests are welcome to use any area of the house and grounds with the following exceptions: - build-up area under house - closet at end of hallway - water heater closet in back yard These areas will be kept locked throughout your stay. Other things to note Please note we have a semi steep driveway which could be challenging if you are not use to it. You can park on the lower half and walk up if need be. There is a parking pad above which will hold up to 3 vehicles. The property also has 21 steps to the front door. During the winter months please check snow conditions and chain requirements before heading to the mountains. We are required to have the driveway and parking area clear upon your arrival. If it snows during your stay there are shovels and ice melt available. We will include one bundle of wood if you want to enjoy the fireplace.
